HP DeskJet 2548 Inkjet All-in-One Printer

Great for school notes and projects! I pay .10$ per page for school printers. I print hundreds of sheets each semester so it's cost effective for the convenience and the hassle free. Also good for resumes and cover letters. It can print low-quality ink for notes. It can go higher quality for more crisp images for professional documents. The options are diverse for the quality of paper to the quality of ink you want.The scanner is helpful feature too. I need to scan in a lot of data analysis worksheets as well as personal documents for work and school.Wifi connection works most of the time. It's great for laptops and smartphones. I do a lot of work on my laptop. I have the usb connection on my desktop in case my wifi gets held up because of a poor connection.One thing I would change is getting a printer that prints out of the top instead of the front.

After a lot of trial and error I discovered that for the initial set up you must use the new ink cartridges supplied with the printer. I had used cartridges with a lot of ink in thembut could not get the setup right until I used the new cartridges. After that it was a snap.

Same problem as the old HP printer I owned...It takes 25 or more times of showing the paper into the feeder before it catches to print, and it still tells you "Out of Paper". Plus it gulps ink like a sailor on leave does rum. When it works, it's ok, but like the old one...Annoying!!

Printer great. Took lots of troubleshooting to set up what should have been incredibly easy. The set up guide and manual don't give the easiest method! Use the install software that comes with it on a laptop. When you get to the step where it is searching for your device, plug your wirelessly connected laptop in with a USB (get your own-- their USB was cheap and didn't stay in port). This physical connection will save you so much time in heartbreak. When prompted to remove the USB do so and now the printer is ready for wireless printing from laptops and just about any device.

This is a cheap printer that works just fine wired, but with sub-par wireless capabilities. Wired, it works just fine and I find is very fast as well. But when using wireless, I find myself having to press the power button for it to show up on my devices, which isn't a terrible thing, but at that point I might as well just print wired. And like most, if not all, printers, the ink is ridiculously expensive, about half the price of the printer itself for black ink and color ink. Overall the printer is nice, just not the wireless options.

Good price but either the USB cable or the USB port was not functioning, did finally get the printer to operate through WiFi. Box appeared to have been opened though everything that was supposed to be included was. Makes me wonder if this was someone else's return

This is the second one I purchased. The first one is being used at a rental property that we manage. We liked it so much that we ordered this one for us for our motor coach.

Price a little high, but works fine

This printer is a piece of garbage. Brand new, out of box, it has an error light that does not let it print and is not explained in the manual. HP support was no help at all.
