Sector 9 Longboards Gorgon Unagi Kicktail Cruiser 8.75" x 34.5"

I bought this with the intention of putting on waterborn surf skate adapters. I tried the board standard without loosening the trucks and it felt fine. I cant really comment on how the sidewinder trucks are for surf skating by itself especially when i left the trucks on tight.I pretty much slapped on the waterborns and boy was it a heck of a lot of fun compared to the sector 9 faultline i purchased and used first. I still like the faultline but this board made carving much easier due to the weight and size difference. There isnt a ton of deck space and my feet are a 7 1/2 mens size.Inspect the board before riding, the bearings on these needed to be relubed. 3 of them just werent spinning freely enough. Also, no spacers on these wheels. I tried putting on blaze abec 5s but the spacers on those dont fit these wheels and ends up popping out the 2nd wheel bearing. Personally dont know if you really need spacers on these. Without spacers it rode just fine, loads of fun. Also liked that these come with risers already, i have zero wheel bite issues with the waterborns. I dont think wheel bite is an issue with just the sidewinder trucks but i would test the turns before going at it full speed.Overall im satisfied.Update: tried the board with the sidewinder trucks only and loosened them up. You can kinda pump it. Easy to carve. If you really want good surf pumping action though id recommend the waterborne adapter hands down.
