I first saw other coaches using these during COVID for fairly obvious reasons and initially thought it was just one of those temporary adjustments everyone was making. After finally trying one myself, I quickly realized I should have switched much sooner. What immediately stood out was how much more practical it was. Traditional whistles eventually end up getting dirty, wet, or frankly a little unpleasant after long practices and repeated use. This completely solved that problem. No more slimy mouthpiece, no constant cleaning, and far less hassle overall. I was also pleasantly surprised by the volume. I initially wondered if it would lose some effectiveness compared to a traditional whistle, but that concern disappeared immediately. It’s more than loud enough for practices, competitions, and larger spaces, and it gets athletes’ attention without any problem. As a coach running practices with large groups, convenience and reliability matter, and this ended up being one of those small changes that made a bigger difference than expected. Five stars. Cleaner, easier to use, surprisingly powerful, and something I now wouldn’t want to coach without.
