This is my first immersion blender, and I love it. It's really easy to use. It fits my hand well. The placement of the buttons for use is really good. I like that it turns off immediately when I release pressure on the larger power button. It blends so well and really makes cream soups and milkshakes chunk free. I'm sure there are uses for the slower speed but I'm too impatient so usually have it on high. I use it for just about anything now that needs to be "creamed." It's easy to take apart for cleaning. A simple rinse of hot water usually does the trick if you wash it right away. Storage is simple as it really doesn't take up much room. No splatter, as the way it's put together keeps splatter from splashing up at you. Mine was black, not red, which was not an issue with me because my kitchen is mostly stainless with black/stainless items. The beaker has come in handy for milkshakes and whipping up liquids for pancakes on the weekend. All in all, a fantastic new kitchen toy for the price paid!

This is a heavy duty blender, way more powerful than I actually needed. Works great.
