Every mascara I’ve tried smudges under my eyes, but not this one! I love it.

I love this brand of mascara. The wand is slim which is super helpful. I recommend applying one layer and then moving to another section of your lashes and applying another layer and then moving on. Don’t be impatient and try to glob on a bunch of mascara or repeatedly go over one section. Just apply one coat and move on. If you need to add more, then add more. I find that applying in light layers really elongates the lashes. Curl lashes with a Sheseido eyelash curler first, then apply this mascara in thin layers, and if you need a little more curl after you apply this mascara, then use a heated eyelash curler. If you try to go in with a metal eyelash curler after you apply mascara, your lashes will stick to the metal part and you have to peel your lashes off of the metal and lose some eyelashes in the process. Use a metal curler first, then apply mascara, and then use a heated eye lash curler. This is waterproof and generally does not smudge onto my upper lids. If I am wearing concealer, this will smudge off on my eyelids. I do not now why. If I apply this without applying concealer, this will stay on my lashes well. I tried L’Oréal and CoverGirl waterproof mascaras and they have always let me down. They used to work for me about a decade ago but I think the formula changed and they are no longer water or smudge proof for me. I highly recommend.
