Extremely easy to swivel, but it's also very sturdy and reassures you how safe it is with the built-in leveler.I think a lot of people don't realize how badly they need a swivel mount until they get one. It's practically impossible to ever change your HDMI, audio, or Roku/Streaming devices. After ten years of having one of the older ones that isn't this, we're painstakingly pulling it off the wall and throwing it in the trash after assembling 2 of these already. A third one (the 32-to-80-inch) is on the way.We had the "top seller" one to save a few bucks but that doesn't have motion. It's awful. You need a specific screwdriver to swap out a new television (or repair it), it's burdensome, and you can't reach any of the HDMI or ports. You're also terrified if your wall is going to fall off. You're going to be swearing up and down with your phone's flashlight trying to figure out where the hell any of the parts are in a half inch of space. Seriously, at least 100 times of trying to get back there and using every colorful word I could imagine with those non-swivel things.This one has extremely fluid motion, but stays still. The TV only moves when you want it to move, and stays perfectly still when you leave it alone for 15 months.Assembly is always scary at first for every wall mount (you're drilling holes into your building's structure for a 100lb television to not crack anything), but this is easily the cleanest install. After owning the other one for 2 years, I had forgotten how to do it again. But it was hanging up within the hour. If you're a first-time wall mount installer, read every direction extremely carefully. I think a lot of the 1-stars here got a little too gungho and just started drilling without actually mapping where it was going to go and how much space they needed.

The mount is heavy and very sturdy. I've only had it installed for about a week, but it appears it will last a very long time. There is a lot of hardware included for varying configurations to meet your installation needs. Installation was very easy. Excellent product.I only have a few complaints that do not warrant a deduction in the overall rating, but which I will share for the benefit of others:1. The hardware includes hallow wall anchors for mounting. However, the instructions state to only mount to a stud - which I would recommend also. The weight of the mount and of an attached TV at full extension would be more than I would want to put on such anchors. If there is no alternative, I would purchase more robust wall anchors to use.2. I needed to install this on a stud that was right next to a wall plate for the cable outlet. The width of the bracket that attaches to the wall is too wide to sit right next to the wall plate, so I had to use a small piece of scrap wood so the mount would sit above the wall plate. I will eventually move the cable outlet and repair the drywall so the unit can fit flush against the wall as intended.3. I had a very specific placement that required me to install the unit upside down. While it could work as is, the mating between the VESA mount and articulating arm would not be ideal. However, I found that the mount at the end of the articulating arm could easily be reversed by removing one screw. I think it would be beneficial to include such instructions in the manual.

I mounted 2 TVs with the amazon basic no-stud wall mount. Quick delivery and good packaging. When I opened the box, everything I needed to install the TVs was there. Each tv used a different thickness and length of screw, which was included. The first tv was a 43in Samsung flat screen tv, which was lightweight (23lbs approx). I installed the tv in under 5 minutes. The second tv was a 65in TCL (60lbs approx), the installation was finished in under 10 minutes. Previously I used a expensive full motion stud tv mount, which was much harder to install and remove, and I believe for my needs it wasn’t worth it. Both mounted TVs have remained sturdy and the lock has helped it stay in place. I installed both TVs by myself, but if you have a large and heavy tv i would recommend two people to help hold the tv to set it in place on the mount. This mount is much easier to install than the hundred dollar mount, and is flush with the wall (depending on the back of your tv). Overall I would highly recommend this amazon basic no-stud wall mount for anyone that wants a easy to install, affordable, and high quality product.

It helps if you've installed it before. You might consider professional installation. Wall mount was straight forward. The tricky part was mounting to the back of the TV. The instructions are tiny small print and confusing because they attempt to cover multiple TV configurations with the same figures. Lots of spacers to keep the mounting screws from penetrating into the back of the TV and break something. The problem I had today concerned the "J" bolts and the "JY" nuts. The nuts screw in about 1/4 inch and then stop and won't go further. At first I thought the nuts were faulty, or english threads instead of metric or the opposite. But they were all the same. I tried other english nuts, but didn't work and didnt' have any metric nuts handy. I finally decided to just force the nuts onto the bolts with a power drill, holding the nuts with pliers. That worked. Tighten, then loosen, repeat and they just worked.What I like about this wall mount is that the TV mount has a hook at the top that lowers onto a corresponding item on the wall mount. Just lift the TV up and it attaches. A one-person job. There's a screw at the base of the connection point to lock it in place but I couldn't get the holes to match and wired them together.I like it that it tilts enough up and down, extends in and out which gives it room enough to rotate left and right a good amount.. Seems sturdy enough with a 19 lb 42 inch TV.

Solid and easy to install. I had to modify the product due to my specific needs and was happy that it was easy to do!!Good product fir a good price!

Fácil de montar y robusto

Avevo già comprato due diversi tipi di staffa per montare questa tv (Samsung 32" mod. T53...) in altri negozi, ma alla fine ho sempre dovuto restituire il prodotto perché non erano provvisti delle viti che si adattassero al mio televisore.Scelgo quindi di dare un'occhiata su Amazon e fin da subito, visto anche le molteplici recensioni positive, mi approccio a questa staffa che sembrava l'ideale per la misura della mia tv e aveva le caratteristiche che mi servivano dovendola montare in un angolo (vedi foto) della cameretta di mia figlia.Ho guardato quasi tute le foto che i precedenti recensori avevano allegato, cercando di capire se qui ci fossero le viti che potevano adattarsi al televisore.. e alla fine decido di acquistarlo, inoltre la spedizione Amazon è stata super veloce, nonostante l'abbia comprata praticamente a Capodanno.UNBOXING: scatola bella compatta con all'interno, due fogli che fanno da dima per i fori (vedi foto) da fare al muro (io non li ho usati), un libretto multi lingue compreso l'italiano con gli avvisi di sicurezza e con nelle pagine finali le istruzioni da seguire per il montaggio di tutti i componenti. Ancora, il braccio staffa con la sua copertura di plastica a parete per non far vedere le viti di fissaggio a muro, la staffa da avvitare alla tv, delle prolunghe da avvitare alla staffa tv nel caso il VESA sia superiore al 100x100, due buste contenenti tutte le viti e rondelle necessarie al fissaggio ed inoltre anche una livella per chi non ne fosse provvisto.MONTAGGIO: vi dico il mio metodo di montaggio, il ché non è per forza il metodo perfetto. Innanzitutto ho montato la staffa, quella a forma di farfalla, che va dietro la tv. A me non sono servite le prolunghe perché il VESA del mio televisore é 100x100 e per cui riusciva a montare senza. Una volta trovate le viti e le rondelle adatte (quelle nella serie di viti tutte nere - vedi foto) a questo modello di televisore,dovendolo montare in un angolo tra due pareti ma volendo anche assicurarmi la possibilità di poterlo richiudere su una parete (vedi foto), decido di installare momentaneamente il braccio della staffa a muro così da poter controllare dove effettivamente era meglio posizionarlo. Per questa operazione mi sono fatto aiutare, in modo tale che uno reggesse la tv e io potevo muovere il braccio per capire bene dove fissarlo.Una volta trovato il punto esatto, prima di sposare la tv, mi sono segnato al muro con la matita una linea inferiore e una laterale (formando praticamente una L) la forma della staffa che va avvitata al muro. Fatto questo ripongo la tv e smonto nuovamente il braccio che le avevo montato precedentemente.Prendo solo il braccio (che da solo pesa pochissimo), lo posiziono dove avevo fatto il segno a L, con una livella lo metto a piombo e mi segno con la matita dove fare i fori. Ripongo anche il braccio e con il trapano con punta da 8mm faccio i quattro fori necessari.Voglio precisare che non ho utilizzato i fischer presenti nella confezione perché anche se le viti sembrano di buona fattura, non mi piacevano proprio i fischer di plastica dove si avvita la vite e per cui ho preferito utilizzarne altri in mio possesso.Fatto questo non mi è rimasto altro che avvitare il braccio alla parete, montare la copertura in plastica sulla staffa a muro e successivamente agganciare la tv con la sua staffa già montata al braccio estendibile. Ho controllato anche con la livella sulla tv se tutto fosse in linea ed il risultato è perfetto.RECENSIONE FINALE: il braccio mi è sembrato molto solido e resistente, non credo ci saranno problemi ma questo lo dirà il tempo. Il montaggio è relativamente facile, con poca pratica nel fai da te si riesce a farlo per bene e senza grossi problemi. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è sicuramente favorevole e la dotazione accessori unitamente alla facilità di montaggio ha semplificato il fissaggio del tv al supporto.Unico problemino la coppia di viti in dotazione che devono fissare l' inclinazione del tv non stringono a sufficienza e di conseguenza il tv 32", che pesa pochi chili, non è rimasto fissato in posizione verticale.Con un piccolo tubicino metallico di pochi centimetri inserito fra le lame di supporto a modo di spessore è stato possibile bloccare sufficientemente il basculamento del supporto mobile ma il tempo necessario a risolvere il problema ha di gran lunga vanificato il risparmio economico inizialmente previsto con l'acquisto di questo articolo.
