PUMA Women's Takala Dance Pivot Sneaker

I prefer my 2 old pairs of Puma Soleils, without arch support. They were flatter and roomier and I still won't dispose of them despite looking ragged since they feel like nothing, meaning lightweight shoes. I love my old pumas because they are stealth, or as close to barefoot with protection as is comfy. I had a leather pair where the outside stitching frayed off from rubbing and a suede pair that absorbed street dirt around the edges. I coild kick them on and off and sit cross-legged without sensing them. So I decided to buy this pair to smarten up my scruffy look, but they have a rigidity to them. In comparson to the soleils, these are clogs. HOWEVER I wore the soles on my old ones unevenly since they provided no support or cushion whatsoever, so these might just be what I should have been using all along. I'm just not used to them yet. I would give 5 stars if the cushioned support was less bulky. Thats why they feel tighter and smaller. Who knows, maybe in 5 years these too will be perfectly soft., after I've kicked them in. Maybe they can earn 5 stars in the future. If they hold the shape better than the Soleils then it will have to be 5 for looks alone.

I bought these sneakers to wear to work, which requires many hours of standing and walking. As I have had them for nearly two years, the shoes have been broken into, and they are actually pretty comfortable. The only problem I have with these shoes is that they squeak when I walk. This may have to do with the type of surfaces I walk on.They do not really have arch support, however, that is strangely not a problem. If the insoles don't work for you, I would suggest buying ones that suit your feet's needs.

I ordered these shoes for my CNA (1) class. I have noticed by other comments that these shoes fit large, so I ordered a size 7 (I normally wear a size 7.5) and they fit perfect! I love them! these shoes are a bit narrow for people with very narrow feet (like me). Also, I have noticed on the shoes that the laces are kind of like ribbon type material, for some people that is a problem, but for me it is not a problem because I am able to make the shoes very tight! the shoes are very comfy, but definitely need to be broken into first before a 8 hour shift! lastly, my friend had ordered these shoes for her CNA class after seeing my shoes, she has extremely long and narrow feet (normally wears a size 9), and ordered a size 8.5 and they were a perfect fit! so Im usually a 7-7 1/2 in all my shoes/sneakers. This was no exception. I do have somewhat narrow feet so that could be the reason why I did not have to size up like many of the other reviewers. I have had this for over 2-3 months now and it is still looking good as new. Well it does have some creases now haha but thats to be expected. Definitely not real leather, but thats good for me. Ive used this sneaker as a everyday sneaker walking a mile in them and recently as a work out sneaker to do cardio and not once has my feet ever felt uncomfortable in them. I will definitely buy from this brand again in other colors. The sleek and feminine look goes so well with skinny jeanss mmmmm, Thanks Puma!

After seeing some, not so cute, dance/Zumba shoes I was happy to find these. I have 2 other pairs of Puma shoes, so, I ordered the size of my 2 other pairs. They seem to run a bit larger than my others. Especially, in the heels. They are a bit stiff as well. If you have narrow heels, do not order these. I tried putting inserts in them and they were still too wide in the back. I would have returned them, but, I wore them twice, to hopefully see if they got any better.

I bought an 8 because Puma usually runs a little small. Typically i wear a 7-7.5. When they arrived, very quickly, they were adorable, i loved them. However, when I put them on they were HUGE! My friend that wears a 9 tried them on and they fit so she took them off my hands. They are reasonably priced and a super cute shoe, just way too big.

I got these to wear to my Zumba classes and they work perfectly for the pivoting dance moves that we do. They don't make much of a fashion statement but that isn't what I bought them for. I would like them better and wear them for more than Zumba if they came in more colors.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable! They are lightweight, easy to clean, and built for "movability." I work at Home Depot and walk around on cement floors for hours and hours at a time and the insoles provided in the shoes are the perfect cushiony pillow to ease the pain of cement walking. Highly recommend! : )
