Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion

I've been using this product for several years now, and this is the only product that actually absorbs into the skin and doesn't leave any type of heaviness, I am so pleased with this product I also feel that it is helping with the lines and the dryness that I have on my face I use it twice a day, and I am just over the moon with it. I will use it till I cannot use it no more. Would not use anything else. Stop

This lotion is smooth and good for sensitive skin. I prefer an SPF but love this on days I don't want or need SPF. It does not break me out or cause any redness. It blends into my skin immediately without any odor or stickiness. Recommend.

I was struggling BAD with my skin and about 7 months ago threw away everything I was using and narrowed down to about 8 products, including this one. I love that it’s super light weight feeling. Some moisturizers I’ve tried in the past have felt heavy on my skin so I love that this is light and soaks right in. Large amount for the price point. No break outs no greasiness

I’m 65 years old and I like a light moisturizer. This one’s perfect. I don’t care for the smell of the SPF that’s in a lot of the daily moisturizers. Not really out in the sun so I don’t see the need for the SPF protection. This leaves my skin, soft and hydrated as it should be.

I started using this product in late June. I always start with a a patch test. Some background about me- I have VERY sensitive skin due to 2 pain disorders called “trigeminal neuralgia” and “small fiber neuropathy.” These conditions cause my face to burn incessantly- like fire. So I am treated with meds which blanket it. As a result I can NOT wash my face with ANY PRODUCT. Ever! The only thing that touches my face is water when I shower. But my skin has become very dry in the last year (I normally have super oily skin). I also have rosacea. So now, I actually have combination skin, I have oily but in certain areas I have dry patches. Hence why I needed to find a good moisturizer. Prior to this, I tried proactive green tea but unfortunately when I applied it to more Dr areas of my face- those areas went VERY red!! I realized it is because of the essential oils in that moisturizer. My sister LOVED the green tea but I have come to realize I cannot use ANY essential oils. I also tried skinceuticals with similar results. (It’s has essential oils and I don’t know why products use those anymore due to irritation) Anyway, I started using this and applied a small amount to my right cheek. After a couple weeks I started using it on my whole face. I find this to definitely moisturize my face; soothes it and does not cause me any irritation which is amazing. I use it first thing after my shower in the morning. When I first started I only used a small amount for fear I would react. However as time went on, I was able to appt more. After using it for approximately 3 months- I also started using it in the evening because now that it is winter, I need more hydration. If you have sensitive (rosacea, acne prone, oily AND DRY) skin like myself, I highly recommend giving this a try. I also like the hyaluronic acid in it. Hope this helps someone!😊💜💚

Short review: A really good, lightweight moisturizer for those with oily-combo skin. However, it may cause irritation for those with very very sensitive skin (for me, it was only stinging/burning my cheeks). Decent ingredients, very nice texture, overall a good option. *Ingredient list from bottle included in photos if you had trouble finding it on the listing :) In-depth review below in the hopes to help out those with a similar skin situation: Skin type: Oily-combo, very sensitive - Oily combination skin (heavily oiled T-zone, often dehydrated skin especially in the cheeks). - HYPER sensitive skin! Mostly the cheeks, easily irritated and reddened by most products, commonly sensitive to "chemically" ingredients and preservatives - Somewhat acne-prone, breakouts are typically from bad diet or stress. - Easily clogged pores, non-comedogenic products are a must. I am giving this product 4/5 stars, because overall it meets the majority of the requirements I was looking for The good: + No scent! In fact, the "scentless-scent" it has is very nice. + Not greasy at ALL, its almost "watery" in the best way possible, it is super lightweight, and the texture it gave my face was really glowy/dewy looking without looking like a grease-ball. + It was really good for my T-zone where I've got so much extra oil + Doesn't seem to clog my pores The bad: - It burns, it burns on my very sensitive cheeks, which was extremely disappointing being as this product was labeled for sensitive skin. And overall, it is fairly gentle on the rest of my face (which is still sensitive, just not to the extreme of my cheeks). So just be aware of that. If you have very sensitive skin, you may want to try Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer. Extremely gentle for sensitive skin, but be aware its not quite as light as this Cetaphil one - so if you're oily like me it might seem a biiiit greasy looking.

Good lotion. I use it before putting make up.
