My Big Activity Workbook (Wipe Clean Activity Book): Practice Pen Control, Spelling, Math, and More! [Priddy, Roger] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. My Big Activity Workbook (Wipe Clean Activity Book): Practice Pen Control, Spelling, Math, and More! Review: Big Step towards learning journey !!! - We are fan of Roger Priddy Books and after purchasing Early Learning Activity book we were so satisfied with our child’s learning Development curve we decided to go for the big step and did not hesitate for a moment to get Roger Priddy’s Wipe Clean: My Big Activity Workbook (My Big Step by Step). This book is spiral bound. Lengthwise it is 10.9 inches and width wise it is 8.8 inches. A good sturdy book indeed with lots of wonder inside it. It has mainly 3 sections a) Spelling b) Maths c) Puzzles Spelling - This section starts with practice of writing Letters Aa- Zz. This section gradually teaches a child how to spell a word. This books shows how a word can be taught how to spell in different ways. For example the word CAT can be taught to spell a) missing the first letter like _AT for CAT or b) missing the second letter like C_T for CAT or C) missing the last letter like CA_ for CAT. This way a child learns a to spell a word completely. He/ She will know in a word which letter comes first and which one last.Similar to the Early Learning workbook this Big Activity book also has exercises in each page. So, When a child learns a new thing he/she can practice it doing the exercises and this way her learning curve can be judged also. The spelling section emphasizes on First Letter, First sound, Last Letter, Last Sound, Middle Letter, Middle Sound etc. So we can see that spelling learning is a fun and new in each page. It is not monotonous and gradually it is moving to a new step. Maths - This section starts with practice of writing numbers 1-20. Maths section has 3 parts : a) Counting - Then comes counting from 1-10 with colorful pictures. It increases the interest of a child in learning counting. b) Addition and Subtraction - After Counting comes Addition and subtraction exercises in different ways. This Maths section also tries to tach a child about doubling and halving a number which is very unique. Puzzles - Puzzle section composes of : a) Missing letters which I think is a good exercise for a child after learning spelling. b) What’s different ( you have to find a number of differences between two pictures). Parents can help their little ones here in the beginning and then they can easily sort it out. c) The other puzzles are sudoku, crossword , maze , Trails , connecting the dots to make a figure etc etc. The puzzle section can be dealt by a child while doing learning the spelling and maths. For us our little one loves the puzzle section most of all. This Big Activity book is a hit and avery good purchase after Early Learning Activity Workbook by Roger Priddy. Review: Great for prek! - My daughter is 4 and very bright and loves learning. We don’t have her in preschool because we’re considering homeschool (which feels terrifying to be honest) but she has shown such interest in learning to read and write, so I started checking around desertcart to see what was available. This book is AMAZING! She is learning so much so fast all by doing this workbook and asking me questions along the way. I love that it’s dry erase so she can continue practicing and it gives me a chance to see her progress and celebrate how she is continuing to grow and learn! Definitely gets more advanced throughout the back half but that means we’ll get some good mileage with this workbook!

SIMPLE, EASY, REUSABLE, STURDY
Love this for my 3 y/o and 2 y/o. This is awesome because it is sturdy and reusable. My children’s book take a lot of abuse and this has been holding up since I bought it. Not only that, it is very educational and simple. You can easily erase what they’ve written and they can reuse it over and over again. They absolutely enjoy it. There are so many activities in this book and very appropriate for their age. I love it!

Ok quality but very fun!
These books were very educational and fun my kids enjoyed them! The quality was a little lacking, the pages didn’t wipe completely clean so not sure how long it will be reusable. I have a 3 year old who writes very hard, he broke the dry erase marker within 10 minutes so I had to find a better replacement. Good news is they clean better with a higher quality dry erase marker. Took away a star for quality, but like I said my kids really enjoyed drawing and then scrubbing it off.

Perfect Solution for Rainy Days, Car Rides, and little ones that love to play school!
I have a 5 year old granddaughter that LOVES to do "school work" all the time. I have purchased many of the curriculum books at the teacher supply store, only to find that although it is recommended for her age, there are many wasted pages. A lot of the activities frustrate her because she either doesn't understand them, or she figures out what to do after she has already started and is then upset that she feels she has done something incorrectly. This activity book, along with the Early Learning Activity Book (available on Amazon) are perfect and I wish I had found them long before. She gets to do her favorite activities over and over, and she teaches herself the ones she isn't as familiar with. She knows if she messes up that we can clean the page and she can start again! I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewers regarding the included marker, throw it away! I got the Crayola dry erase crayons (Also on Amazon) for under $5 and they are a much better choice if you don't want to deal with marker on the sleeves of their shirts and black hands that leave the mess everywhere! One of my best purchases on Amazon, highly recommend!

Buy it
This workbook is great, my 4 year old loves it! There are a ton of activities to do and I like that in the beginning of each section writing/ number they is a practice to trace letters and numbers section. That is the purpose I got it for originally but all the extra things like filling in the blank letters and math problems is also great and I can see my son is really putting things together. I don’t think you can go wrong with this one. It comes with a marker but not an eraser.

An excellent preschool activity book!
We purchased a couple of the Roger Priddy wipe clean books recently as a tool to get our preschooler set up for success. We wanted something bright, colorful, and full of activities to show our little ones that learning is fun and was able to keep them engaged. We believe we found just that with these books! The book is a great size, 11" x 9" and the dry erase marker that comes with it wipes away nicely. One of our little ones is a lefty, so he tends get the dry erase marker everywhere. It has a good amount of activities for each subject which we think keeps their interest and ours. Plus, we know that at this age, being repetitive & practicing is the key to learning.

Bought this for my 3 year old who is very intrested in learning to write words. I looked up childrens workbooks and came across these wipe clean ones which i thought was a fantastic idea, so she can do then over and over. Originally i was going to buy the alphabet book but didnt want to spend money on having to buy the lower case, upper case letter and the number books seperately. Im glad i found this one as it has them all in one! The book includes - Spelling - letter practice (a-z in lower and upper case), first letters, first sounds, last letters, last sounds, middle sounds, middle letters, double letters, same sounds, ryhme time. Maths - number practice (numbers1-20), counting 1-10, adding 1, subtracting 1, adding groups, subtracting groups, subtracting to 5, adding to 10, doubling numbers, halving numbers, Puzzles - missing letters, spot the difference, maze puzzles, crosswords, sudoku squares, mixed up word puzzles, trail puzzles, fun with numbers, connect the dots, word search. It also came with a dry wipe pen, but i bought spare incase she loses it and other reviews said it runs out easily
