this was a large bag of cinnamon sticks. They smelled like cinnamon. When blended into powder, it converted to cinnamon powder. Just as expected.

Don't use a lot of these but makes a great tea and smells so good when brewing. Reasonably priced.

Nice sized bag, light strength, the smell is not very strong. Good value for the money. Easy to open bag and easy to use. Coloring is good. Overall quality could be better but we just use them to make homemade moon shine.

Too bad that these are the type of cinnamon nor recommended to chew on frequently. These actually are very potent. I eat the spiciest foods around. I heavily use Carolina Reaoer peppers in my cooking, go through lots of horseradish and wasabi, and enjoy very strong and hot cinnamon. The batch of these I received had that hidden at first. I placed one in my mouth expected it to reach out, and only a slight taste, but when I broke it open, got to the fresh oil, that's when it came out full. But, since this is not Ceylon cinnamon, I use this for my tea infuser every once in a while.

I’ll start off by saying you get a good amount for what you pay. But that’s where the praise ends for me. Sadly as soon as I opened the bag I knew something was wrong. That much cinnamon should have a big cinnamon smell. This smelled like paint lacquer. A horrible chemically perfumed smell. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it. I bought these for a simmer pot so I’m hoping that the cinnamon smell will still come out but I wouldn’t trust cooking with it in any form whatsoever. I can’t really figure out why it would smell that way? I’ll update after this first simmer pot if it’s still okay doing that with it. I would absolutely not recommend for consumption of any kind because something is seriously off about them.

Cinnamon sticks are very crisp and came completely in tact. Using to crack for insect control. Smell wonderful and would be great for hot cider or hot tea.
