HamiltonBuhl Juke24 Portable Digital Jukebox with CD Player & Karaoke Function, Red/Yellow (J22RCS1YR)

I purchased the Juke24 for my 2 year old once he started asking me for the same songs over and over again. We only have Alexa, which works for us but not for my son who is of course still learning to speak clearly. So instead of saying "alexa, play we are the dinosaurs" over and over, he picks whatever songs he wants (of the ones I preselected) whenever he wants. I also like that I can put pictures on each of the buttons so he can remember which button plays which song. It was an instant hit and the first thing he goes to every day. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it would be great if it was more child friendly. He needs close supervision because it's plugged in, has multiple parts he could break, and the battery door doesn't screw shut.

Once you get it set up with the music you want in't pretty nice, but in 2019 a media device should just turn on. Waiting for it to load up or waiting for the CD to be read is very early 90s tech level. The overall quality of the unit is cheap. The CD player hardly ever works and it feels like cheap plastic. That said my kid loves it. It's nice to let him play songs over and over again at the touch of a button. I just wish they all still worked and that he could put a CD in and it would just play.

Purchased for an 87 year old Grandma with Alzheimer’s and she loves it! I filled it with 24 of her favorite songs and made custom button labels with the singers faces (Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Andrews Sisters, etc)The on/off switch is clear and easy to understand. The song buttons are big and easy to push. She has no interest in the microphone and the CD player is too complicated for her. It would be great if there was a more basic version of this for less money. Paid $129.95 which seems too high for this product, but it’s unique.

Very easy to record songs from an iPhone. I am very happy that it has a key lock switch, so my toddlers can enjoy the music while pushing buttons ;) I would add a lock for the CD player on the back as well. All in all though, a nice music player for kids. It comes with a microphone for karaoke, but our microphone didn't work, so I am having to send it back.

I purchased this for my elderly mother in 2018. It was difficult to download music and to replay properly. I was never able to actually use it.. I tried again this year, and now all it does is power on, I am not able to play anything from it (CD or downloaded music) - the Source button doesn't work..the Play button doesn't work.Don't waste your money. It's a great idea, but poorly made.

Purchased: July 2018As of May 2020 I have had no problems.I use this device with my kindergarten class so it gets used a lot. The use of buttons with pictures on them allows the students to easily identify and select their favorite songs. The multiple inputs make it easy for me to add music (I usually record a song straight from my tablet using an auxiliary line). The mic also allows me to record stories for students to listen to independently. A great device for the classroom.

Never could get anything to work. Spent a few hours downloading and/or recording from CDs and never got anything to work. Even went and bought the needed USB cord (it doesn't come with it). And we waited over 2 weeks to get it. So much for the Christmas present.Oh, and when I tried to go to the "contact" link on their website, it was "page not found". Take note.

This is a easy to use player that can record the cds that are put in it. She especially loves the microphone and kerioke feature. She has had no problems with it.
