I read "the Power of Your Subconscious Mind" 20 years ago and I saw some remarkable results. But time goes by, I got older, have kids and mortgages, and gradually grew out of so-called spiritual books. I've been blaming credit crunch for my current financial position (not catastrophic, but going down hill). After a catalogue of mishaps in recent months, I picked up this book. It was a BANG, a mind opener. Money is often associated with egoism and greed. If you hide negative thoughts about money and rich people in the recess of your mind, you are pushing wealth away from yourself, because you are actually denying what you long for. Joseph Murphy advocates the importance of peace, harmony, affirmation, envision and tithing. Your life is manifestation of what you think. Now is important, not past or future. It's not too late to change your fate towards a positive direction. Filling your mind with positive thoughts is not that easy if you have bottled in strong negative emotion (guilt, remorse, fear, anger, jealousy, low self-esteem etc). If it is the case, " the Sedona Method" written by Hale Dwoskin shows guidance and techniques to let go of them. A good complementary read to any Joseph Murphy's book. As other reviewers pointed out, anecdotes are dated, and it is loaded with biblical quotations. However, if you are intelligent and open minded, you will see timeless strong values which go beyond spirituality. And a bit redundant? I agree. But reiteration often works well to make ideas seep into our lazy mind. Not cheap for a paper back. But the cost is minute relative to the long-term economical gains you will receive.

This book changed my life it made me see the world in a different way ,this book not only can make you rich by money but rich in a Godly wisdom.

Joesph Murphy will keep you captivated with his LOA techniques. He is definitely a phenomenal scholar, trail blazer and really laid down the foundation for using our minds to design the life that we desire. The author made it really understand and follow while sharing many tales and techniques of manifestation.
