Does calm the frizz
Works quite well on a medium length beard. Heats up well. Would benefit from a "ready to use"light. Definitely makes more difference on longer hair, but still seems to stop shorter hair from springing out. Quite surprised how long the beard stays "calmed" too. Defo worth the price.

Good for beards
I purchased this for my husband and he uses it most days for his beard. He says it just helps to ‘tame’ it and keep it neat and tidy.I’ve tried using it on my hair just to see what it’s like but don’t rate it for long thick hair.Otherwise happy with my purchase. The lead is nice and long and it’s not too big either.

Using it on a long beard is great
Some reviews say this brush doesn't straighten beard hair. I've had this one day and am really impressed with the results on a 6-7 inch beard. It warms up in about 3 minutes. It'd be nice for the power light to change colour to say "I'm ready" but at this price you can't complain. The rotatable cord is nice and plenty of flex to get you from wall socket to mirror. The tines are long enough to get a denser beard into.In short, my beard is straighter, and my problem areas - my chin dip and my cheeks - are the best they've ever been compared with using a hairdryer and a barrel brush. Beard definitely has less volume compared with a blow dryer, but it's a "horses for courses" decision to make.I think people who say it doesn't work probably fit into one or more or these catagories:- they rush it and brush too fast / expect it to work after only 1 or 2 passes.- they have beards less than 1 inch (I think the hot "elements" amongst the tines need a bit of length to work with), and unrealistic expectations.- their beards might genuinely need 190°c or higher (this only goes to 180°c...but for me, I'd rather stay away from the 220c "danger zone"! 🔥).Anyway, I don't know about short / stubble beards, but I'd totally recommend for medium to long beards.

I had 12 months use.
It broke after 12 months. It was a good straightener before that, but it should last longer really

Helpful to neaten your beard.
Good price for the money, great for travel and easy to use plug in and turn on. Just be careful because it get get hot at the back.
