Diving Surface Marker Buoy+2 Dive Flags, Inflatable Spearfishing Float Bouy

We used this as a dive marker and a buoy for a weaker friend to grab on to so they could snorkel with us. It worked perfect.

The platform that holds the flag is great. Very durable. easy to inflate and deflate and has a lot of useful attachment points for gear when snorkeling or spearfishing, for example to hold my fish bag while im hunting. One point to mention. The flags included are correct in terms of the colors, but in the US, the flag indicating a diver down should be 12" x 12" The flags that came with this buoy are not the right size, so I needed to replace the included flag with a new one in order to be compliant. Other than that one problem, this thing is great.

It's lightweight and was what I needed to stay legal while snorkeling along the river. I would give it 5 stars but I couldn't remember what type of lanyard was included (I think I ended using one of my own from a different product)

Excellent choice! I added a few small weights to it and it floats perfectly

Haven't used it yet but: 1) no inner tube, you directly inflate the balloon; this means that if it gets rolled on the rocks or punctured by a sharp item (like a dorsal fin!), you'll have to try patching the fabric (seems like PVC? - not easy to patch) 2) once inserted it's impossible to exteact the small "flag pole"; plus the pole in question is longer than needed for one flag but not long enough for both...??? 3) definitely needs some external ballast to stay upright (no water chamber included) Overall cheap and I'm likely to return it without using it.

Works and floats just fine. Just put a little air in it, it doesnt have to be blown up to max capacity or it will roll.

Dive flag portion was very small (about the size of my hand) and short, would not be able to see it in the ocean diving. Float looks to be ok quality. Would not recommend

Good: - relatively visible in calmer waters Bad: - bright yellow fades into a muted color much less visible with only 1 week outdoor exposure - flags easily come off when in use if there are gusts of wind - when in use, the float tends to tip to the side and the flag becomes less visible - not a very large float and so visibility is less than it could be.
