This has the potential to be a good pillow - it is nice and fluffy, the extra pillow is comfortable, and it is very compact when folded.But I would not recommend buying it. The construction is very cheap - the seam kind of cuts into your neck if you keep it too close. The valve is cheap as cheap comes, like an old inflatable beach toy. It is very thin like a short drinking straw, the cap is flimsy and I expect it will break off after not too many uses, and here is no air release blocker, so if you don't insert the tiny plug right away, the air escapes. There are two such valves, one for the main pillow and one for the extension.Note to the manufacturer:Sand those seals so they don't hurt your neckUse one of those large valves that inflate in one blowHave an air trap so the air does not push out the minute you stop blowingHave a slow release buttonLet one valve inflate the entire pillow instead of having two valves.Note to customerDo yourself a favor and buy something else, this one is really poor

Swiss-made is usually a testament of quality. I cannot say the same for this one.It's poorly made. The plastic layer inside is too thin, and the lining is not well-sealed to keep the air trapped. As the result, you'll find yourself puffing it every now and then.The size is for kid. And as a less than 5'3", that's really saying something.Also, the pouch is too small to effectively carry the folded pillow. You really have to press the air out, and fold it precisely, for it to fit into its pouch.I would consider the 10$ price I paid as a rip-off because I had purchased a $7.5 bundle of travel pillow, blanket, and eye-mask from one of a low-cost airlines, that had served me really well. I bought this hoping that the 'Swiss Gear' brand on the thing could bring back my dignity, but I think blowing this thing every 5 minutes is the real embarrassment.

I had one of these for five years and loved it, especially the little extra neck support cushion at the top. This is the same brand and looks exactly like my old one but unfortunately, this one only lasted for a few months before it started leaking air. It's also very difficult to close the valve after filling it with air. It's too late to return it and I'm hesitant to buy another after this bad experience.

Terrible quality, construction, material.Very uncomfortable. Its basically fuzzy cold welded plastic with sharp edges everywhere. Also, the air valve has no check to it, so its difficult to fill properly.Do. Not. Buy.

I think this is the best neck pillow out there. I used one up and just ordered two more.I often sleep in cars/vans, and the added inflatable compartment moves the pillow up so it fills in the gap between the headrest and the seat and provides good support to the head.Also, when you sleep on your side (I carry an air mattress and a sleeping bag with me and end up sleeping in airports every couple of months) the additional compartment lifts the pillow up so it is the right height to support the head.

Recently I traveled 16+ hours to and from South America and this time, I swore I wouldn't land with the usual neck, back and body ache I get while traveling in the back with the fun crowd. For the price, I could not find too many options better than this, and the second chamber really helps with upper-neck support and keeps the arms of the inflatable pillow down on my shoulders instead of moving up and touching my face when I'm asleep. Yes it's a very specific thing to note but then again, this is a very specific pillow.The material is soft and there's no weird smells after airing it out (once again, specific things to note). Another nice thing is that it rolls up into a really small size (think the length of your hand) so it fits into backpack pockets, etc. A very useful item when traveling and I'm glad it didn't cost an arm and a leg!

i wanted a travel pillow that was inflatable as i could deflate it and pack it in the bag when i don't use it. i liked the idea of having the second inflatable pillow and the price is right. my only gripe is that the inflating tube does not have a check valve so when you blow into the pillow and are done, you have to be VERY VERY QUICK not to let too much air out when inserting the plug...

It does what it is intended to do. You buy this cuz it's very, very compact and that it is. The material is very good too. You might sweat a bit if it's warm, but it doesn't irritate my skin or stick to me.Giving it 4 stars cuz the seams are about 1/8" wide and sometimes bother my neck. I don't understand why they didn't do the seems on the inside!

Never have I seen such deplorable design. There are two inflation tubes and neither one have a flap to prevent air from escaping. This is a small item so it only takes a second for the air to be expelled. With no anti-backflow flap to prevent air escape ...the small chamber loses all of its air before you can get the stopper in and the large chamber loses at least 30% before you can get the stopper in. This was truly designed by engineers with degrees from Romper Room. I'm keeping it only because I have a severely strained neck and NEED this regardless of how stupidly designed it is and that it takes 3 minutes of struggling to get it to hold air. STUPID BEYOND BELIEF!

Dog hairs easily get or any fiber will easily stick.It’s not hard to inflate but I find it easy to deflate.Also amazon sent me a used item. I ordered two and you can tell the difference that the other one is used.

As advertised, a little hard to inflate as it doesn’t have the second valve preventing it to deflate when the lid is off.

Difficult to inflate. Chafes the neck. Very hot in warm environments.
