SYLVANIA (9003 XtraVision) - 9003 (also fits H4) XtraVision Halogen Headlight Bulb, (Contains 1 Bulb)

Worked as advertised; replaced my Miata headlight. The package is misleading but I am always one to read small print so wasn't taken by it. Essentially, it claims that this bulb is much brighter, by some percentage. In the tiny print, it says that it is brighter than a bulb that has been used for a long time.The package also says that bright lights break down faster than dim lights. This is probably true, as I need to replace these lights every couple of years. But I am pleased with the light they offer.

Okay folks, I wasted no time giving a review on these headlight bulbs. You need to be warned about products like this.Why? Because it's a total joke for believing hype like this: "Sylvania XtraVision 65-Watt High Performance Halogen Headlight delivers three times more foreground illumination which is designed to create up to 20% more strong illumination" (etc)I changed my 2 headlights today, in my 1990 Camry, in hopes of improving my night field of vision. I could hardly wait until it got dark to test them. Five hours after nightfall, I took a 5 mile drive, including various streets lit at different levels - some with no street lights at all.Let me tell you, I was NOT happy whatsoever! I feel that I totally wasted my money. These bulbs are no brighter than my stock headlight bulbs - not a bit, none, nada, zip. So how can Sylvania make such outrageous claims, or in my opinion .. lies?Go ahead and waste your money, if you wish. Find out on your own. Besides, another reviewer here says they're great. Maybe he works for Sylvania. Maybe he stopped wearing sunglasses at night. (wow, I can see!) Maybe he's lost his mind. Maybe he reported on the wrong series bulb.I saved my original bulbs and won't bother with returning these. (difficult to change in a Toyota) Sorry to disappoint, but truth and facts are what I deal in.Cheers to all,Jeff

I have been using these bulbs for several years and am extremely impressed with them. I have used them in all my autos and my Harley for at least 5 years and really like them. They do exactly what they claim and unlike the more expensive bulbs still give relatively long life. I just changed the bulb (H4-9003) in my Harley Softail after three years and that light is designed by Harley to vibrate or shake to give the appearance of flickering. The bulb burns the whole time the bike is running and I ride a lot. Bulb still working but for $10.00 why take the chance of it going out this year on a ride. The improvement in lighting is perhaps best seen on my Harley which has a high quality glass lens and a quality reflector as well. Lighting improvement was at least 40%.

I purchased this replacement headlight bulb for my Honda Civic and it worked perfectly as expected. I'll purchase them again in the future and would highly recommend. Much less expensive than I found in my local auto supply store so I'm a happy camper. I was able to get it in one day from purchase, which was a huge plus sense I needed it right away.

Fits perfectly. Provides light where previously there was darkness. An excellent replacement bulb.
