This stuff is awesome. It's easy to tear off a piece, but it's VERY strong and sticks extremely well to just about anything. The only thing is, be sure you are applying it exactly where you want it to be; it tends to leave adhesive behind if you remove or reposition it. It will still really adhere to the new place, but the adhesive left behind is kind of messy.

My life is a testament to its power. My splintered shovel handle? Solid. Torn canopy tarp? Mended. My perpetually falling under-the-front bumper panel? Nailed in place (metaphorically, of course, with tape). My dignity? Slowly being reassembled, one expertly taped repair at a time. I even used it to temporarily reattach a loose sole on my shoe, and frankly, it felt more secure than the original stitching. I'm pretty sure I could use this tape to hold the fabric of space-time together if I tried hard enough. The only downside? Once it's on, it's on. Trying to remove it is like attempting to convince a toddler to give up their favorite toy – messy, frustrating, and ultimately, you're probably going to lose. But honestly, that's a small price to pay for the sheer, unyielding power it provides. Now to get my wife to stop using it for pictures on the walls; it's tore off not just paint but chunks of drywall when removed.
