I use this product to make a homemade, miniature nativity. The lady I gifted this to was extremely pleased. I am planning to buy these figures the next time I build a nativity.

When my kids were little, on Christmas, we made a happy birthday Jesus cake. It was the highlight of Christmas day for many years. I had a small nativity set I used as a cake decoration for those cakes. Now that I have grandchildren, I wanted to start the same tradition with them. This set worked perfectly! It's just the right size, easy to clean & has all the essential 'characters' plus the animals. On our cake, we put candles and sang happy birthday then removed all the nativity pieces before cutting the cake. The lamb piece is pretty small so I was extra careful to make sure I got that off the cake before serving.

Smaller than expected, but it worked under my 2 foot foil tree. If the size is stated I did not notice it. Only complaint is the figures looked like they were already old/used. The paint on the faces appeared chipped or poorly painted. Not noticeable at a distance of 2 or more feet. Best estimate: figures range 1 to 2 inches tall. The item is about 4 to 5 inches tall about 6 inches long and about 3 inches deep. It is 3D. There are a few figures: Mary, Joseph. Baby Jesus, 1 wiseman and a lamb laying down. I was expecting 3 Wiseman in total and an angel.

This arrived as advertised on the day promised. I deducted a star because as might be expected it is rather cheaply made. Some of the moss on the roof fell off as I opened the package making a small mess. The figures are of a size commensurate with those of a Dept 56 or Lemax display, but still larger than I would expect of a creche proportional in size to the Dickens Village for which I bought it. I'm still going to be looking for an even smaller creche to add to my display. Buyers should be aware that the shipping time includes 5 days for the creche to be moved from NJ to Queens, NY I did NOT deduct a star for that because the item still arrived on the day promised and, regardless, that would have nothing to do with the quality of the item itself. As a realtor once told me about a house I was selling, "It is what it is." Which is okay.

I needed something for a craft project and I thought the item would be smaller

Even though the figures are done nicely, they are very small. It mentioned in the advertisement they could be used in the garden....really? They would be blown away with the slightest wind. Idecided to keep them for on the coffee table and for my (older) grand children to play with at Christmas time. Too small for tiny kids.
