Starred Tower: System Misinterpret, Book One (A Post Apocalyptic Cultivation LitRPG)

Where to begin.Characters:The MC is interesting, but rather than being a person from another world, they lived a more sheltered life, but learnt the world through different terminology. This enables the book to teach you about the world without relying on the basic trope. The character definitely has their own flaws and feel rather human.World build:Is excellent. This book establishes a solid foundation as to what's going on but leaves so many notes about other events that are occurring and could occur that it adds flavour to the world and excitement as to what is to come. The cultivation system is incredibly well thought out and visual, there are stats but the stats are a reflection of a visually described chi/mana system giving it more of a grounding in the world rather than arbitrary numbers.Favourite feature:Physically training and putting in time to study actually helps one become stronger in a significant manner. This makes levelling up more about self improvement than simply winning battles. The book even contains workouts you can do at home.

Cannot wait for the next book. Great story, measured pacing, believable characters and just the right amount of tension to make a gripping read!

Absolutely amazing book, great characters, worldbuilding and magic system. Love the little goblins so funny lol. Would definitely recommend. The only reason it isn't 5* is because the author seems to write so many books in a series and then starts a new series without finishing the first so kind of annoying but his books are amazing!

Interesting and intelligent take on cultivation style novel. Enjoyed the m/c and his ‘companions’, was unsure of the background story that ran alongside although it did give some depth and explanation to the M/c life, maybe? 9/10

Great book and great story, although I'm a really fast reader and got through it in a day,, when is the next one ??

I struggled with the first 10-15% but after that it was wonderful, interesting cultivation methods, good progression, enough realistic pitfalls and mistakes and a MC that is refreshingly not at all OP!

I found transition between first 10% of the book and rest a bit jarring, however story was great and i am looking forward to the next book.

I didn’t want to put it down.Interesting take on cultivating with litrpg,I enjoyed the story looking forward to reading more.
