Vandor Superman 18-Ounce Acrylic Travel Cup with Lid and Straw, Blue

We ordered the 18 oz but unfortunately only the 12 oz arrived. I informed Amazon of the computer glitch before and after ordering. They could not guarantee that that cup would be available in a larger size. So I kept it and they credited a difference. Our 2 1/2 year old son likes it. The cup is exactly as you see nice Red White and Blue colours with Superman on it in action. Lovely diagram. It is hard plastic and said on the cup that it is good for hot and cold drinks. We are using it for cold drinks so far. The straw is a hard plastic that will probably not melt if hot liquids touch it. The cap is a screw on so good for a toddler. But of course, any straw cup turned upside down could potentially leak through the straw but our son doesn't do that so that's good. The straw is rounded at the bottom so the child cannot pull it out while drinking. Yes, the straw can come out once you unscrew the cap. Hope that helps. I would recommend

I ordered the Wonder Woman and Star Trek cold cups at the same time. I love the Star Trek one, but the Wonder Woman cup seems to have gotten dirty during production or shipment. While the Star Trek one looks clear and pristine and makes it enjoyable to drink water out of, the Wonder Woman cup has this faint brownish tint to it. I at first figured it must be a design-choice though it does make the water appear dirty which is just not pleasant to look at. Whether this was a purposeful aesthetic choice or not, there are dark flecks of what looks like dirt stuck between the main cup and the outer one. I can't get to it to clean it out so the cup just ends up looking dirty. Oh well. The Star Trek one is fantastic though. I get compliments on it at work and when people get in my car since I take my cups with me every where.Unlike the Starbucks cold cup, I noticed these guys have a tighter seal around the straw. I have dropped them a few times on my desk and only spilled a few tiny drops. Fantastic! I feel safe putting a full cup in the side pocket of my backpack while walking around without fearing spillage like I did with my old Starbucks cup. Thansk for keeping me hydrated, Vandor!

I purchased this for my nephew, who is almost 5 and fond of using BIG boy cups like the grown ups. (His parents have similar Starbucks cups and my 11 year old daughter has her own Batman version of this product.) His Superman cup has held up well, and apparently survived the occasional mischief visited upon it by his 18 month old sister and a wood floor. If it's turned on it's side when full, it will leak a little bit around the straw hole, slowly. Aside from this obvious consequence of physics, it doesn't leak as long as the lid's on properly. He likes that it keeps his drinks cold, and BPA-free means his parents are comfortable giving him warm beverages in it too. (My daughter was delighted to discover that these work with hot chocolate almost as well as iced drinks.)The pictures seem likely to last, since it's printed on the outside of the INNER liner. There's no paint on the outside to accidentally scrub off!

I really love this cup, it's the cup I drink everything out of. However, there are a few cons. Don't bite down on the straw, it will crack. I've bitten it twice and there are two small cracks in it now. Also, it says 18 ounces, but I can't generally fit more than 16 in mine and not have it be overflowing. Otherwise, this cup is perfect and exactly what I wanted.

I love the cup, and the day it arrived, I just so happened to crack my old cup, so that was nice. I would five star this, but a wee bit of the logo on one side started chipping. So I had to use SUPER glue on this SUPERman cup. Get it? Ah, ha ha.....But other than that, the cup was SUPER awesome....!

This cup is awesome!! I have other acrylic cups that sweat because they are single layer. This one is double layer and doesn't sweat at all. My husband put it in the dishwasher without me knowing it and I was just SURE it would be ruined, but it wasn't! The double layer secured the images really well. I'm not saying I'll put it in the dishwasher again, but at least it survived one trip. I use this cup daily for iced coffee and it keeps it cold for several hours. Excellend product!!!!

I've been using the insulated Starbucks cups for a long time and decided I need a Batman cup in my life. It's just as sturdy and well insulated as the Starbucks cups I've been using. I recently just dropped it on wooden floor and the lid shattered a little and the two layers are coming apart, so I'm ordering another one because I like this cup so much. The logo itself have yet to wash off and I've been using it for ~2 months, I've only hand washed it though.

I've had my cup for just over 2 months. I have only ever hand-washed it and never submerged it. Nevertheless, it has started to leak between the layers and now there is mold growing inbetween the outer and inner layer. I am incredibly bummed.Thankfully Amazon was really nice and let me exchange it for a new one, even though it was beyond their 30-day return policy. Hopefully the replacment will last longer than the first!
