Love the look but not sure how good the solar part is. Live in NV where there’s sun all day but I go thru tons on batteries which was exactly what I was trying to avoid.

The media could not be loaded.  We have electric spotlights on our stairs going up to our house but they are on a timer. When they go off it becomes very dark and can be dangerous. I also like the look of them with a light on top. These come in many sizes if you are drilling into wood posts but I didn’t want to damage our stone. I chose the largest base and its been really stable in those spots the whole month they have been out. They get great amount of light here in the day so the solar was a great choice. These stay on until the sun comes up in the morning and have guided me down the stairs to the mailbox many times in the middle of the night.Note- when you first get them you have to remove the clear part of the light to be able to turn the switch yo the “ON” setting.

I love the look of colorful lights around the house at night. There’s just something about coming home to them that makes you feel good. These solar lights were so cute, that I just had to add them to our yard.This three pack includes a green dragonfly, pink butterfly and a blue hummingbird. Each is made from a colored translucent hard plastic. These pieces easily slip over the small light that is attached to the rod with the solar bank at it’s base. You will receive three of these lighted rods along with three rod extenders and tips that will allow you to stake these directly into the ground. There is minor assembly required, but it is as simple as just sliding the pieces together. You won’t need any additional tools. The solar bank is moveable by flipping it up and down in it’s stationary position on the rod.
You will want to place these solar lights in a location that gets as much full sun as possible, so you will always have a full charge. Charge the solar banks with the switch in the off position for a day before using. Then switch it on and you are ready to go. The lights will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.I found the lights very easy to install, and since they are powered by the sun, there is no outdoor wiring or electricity needed, so they can go pretty much anywhere. They are all weather resistant and easy to maintain. You can simply use a damp cloth to wipe the solar panels clean if they get dirty, which will help keep them functioning properly.

I first bought a nice looking solar post lamp to replace our first which lasted almost 7 years. The lamp was beautiful but did not work. The replacement didn't either so I moved on to these. Not anywhere near as classy but they work as advertised. I didn't believe the 20 or 25 lumens it was rated at but I do now. We've had 2 days of overcast weather and they still have enough to stay on all night. Very satisfied. And oh ya, this 2 pack cost me about a third as much as the fancy solar lamp. I somehow hit a one star review and I now have changed it to five stars which is my corrected rating. The review stays the same. Sorry.

The post caps are less than a year old and after they quit working I took them apart to find the battery connections were rusted to pieces. Good at first but did not last!

I purchased this pair of solar lights in January 2023; one is inoperable. I think that its reasonable to expect these lights to function more than six months. Well, to be more accurate, one still functions but its sibling does not! What good is a pair of solar lights IF only one post is lighted? I noticed that this product is no longer available. NOW . . . I know why. ☀️

I had fit inside the some left over post material and I will cut the post in 4 inch sections and secure their location withmetal spikes either re rod or pipe that will fit inside the post. I'll secure the new solar lights to the 4inch post.Should be able to space the lights once the first one had turned on. The lights are strong and spacingwill increase. I may not need additional units. My installation is different but not "rocket science".
