Compact, Reliable, and Perfect for Low-Profile Use
The SanDisk Cruzer Fit CZ33 16GB USB 2.0 Low-Profile Flash Drive (SDCZ33-016G-B35) is one of those small but mighty gadgets that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I’ve been using it for lightweight storage and media transfer, and it’s been solid and dependable. The low-profile design is the best part — it sits almost flush with the USB port, which makes it perfect for use in tight spaces, like in the back of a TV, inside a car stereo, or on devices where you don’t want a bulky USB sticking out. Despite being USB 2.0, transfer speeds are more than fine for documents, music, or smaller files. ✅ Pros: Ultra-compact design, almost invisible when plugged in Reliable performance with no disconnects or errors Great for car stereos, TVs, and media players SanDisk build quality — durable and trustworthy ❌ Cons: Limited storage size compared to today’s higher-capacity drives USB 2.0 speeds (fine for light use, but not ideal for huge files) 💡 Tips: If using in a car or media device, format it in FAT32 for maximum compatibility. Keep it dedicated for media or light storage — for large transfers, a faster USB 3.0 option may be better. Because it’s so small, consider attaching it to a keychain or lanyard when not in use to avoid losing it. Bottom Line: The SanDisk Cruzer Fit CZ33 16GB is a fantastic little low-profile flash drive. It’s discreet, reliable, and perfect for situations where space is tight. Not the biggest or fastest, but for what it’s designed to do, it’s excellent.

You have to have this if you are a mobile warrior!
I won't even go into the obvious of how amazing it is that so much storage can be packed into a device this small. I am from the days of tape drives and 5 1/2" floppies, so back then to think that you would be able to fit thousands of floppies on something smaller than a thumbnail.... The reason this is a must have is that it is so small there is no leverage, so it isn't going to snap if you have it in you laptop's USB. With traditional sized USB Flash drives I was always worried that I would accidentally snap the drive or my USB port when I was using one with my laptop, but with the Cruzer Fit, I don't see how it would be possible. Applying enough force to break this in the port would probably destroy your laptop as well, so you'd have other problems at that point. Before I was worried about plugging in and using my laptop when I was using it as a "laptop." Now I have the Cruzer Fit plugged into my laptop and I don't take it out. It is perfect for document storage so that you don't clutter up your laptop's storage. There is no appreciable difference in speed. The only thing that would make this killer is if it were USB 3.0, but for your average documents, you aren't going to notice a difference. You can also use it in tandem with your laptop's drive to keep back up copies of your work. One thing that I do for important documents that I cannot afford to lose is save it in a Dropbox or Google Drive folder on my laptop so that it is stored on my laptop's drive, is backed up in the cloud, and then I save a copy to my Cruzer Fit. That way I am sure that I am not going to lose important documents. It might seem a bit overkill, but after having a few drives crash and files corrupt, I have learned there is no such thing as being too careful. I would still go with the traditional-sized USB drives if you are using it to swap files between computers. The Cruzer Fit is so small I could see how it could easily be misplaced. But for the uses I suggested above, you aren't going to find anything better. I'd also add that to me this is much sturdier than an SD card, so if you are using that as an option, you may find this an interesting replacement.

Small but Mighty
I purchased the SanDisk Cruzer Fit 32GB several months ago after reading lots of reviews here on Amazon. Delivery was fast as usual. The first thing I noticed was just how small the device is (yes I read the reviews but it's still hard to get over the normal size of a "thumb drive" and think of this more as a "thumb nail drive" or even smaller). Seriously, look at the photo in the description comparing the drive to a dime. In terms of use the drive has worked great. It might not be the fastest out there although I haven't run any actual tests for transfer speed. I bought it because of it's size, storage capacity, and price point. I mainly use this drive to store movies and tv shows from my computer which I then play on my HDTV through the USB connection on the back. It works well and I am not too worried about losing it since it just goes back and forth between the computer and tv. If you are looking for something to take with you between the home and office or school that can store a lot of stuff and this small USB drive is appealing, I would recommend some kind of attachment loop or other device to help keep track of this little guy. It looks like there are some good options in the "What Others Bought" category just under the top of the page. Honestly, at this price I have thought about buying some other and attaching them all to the same key ring to create a very small, portable, and widely supported storage unit. I say widely supported because another great thing about USB drives in general is they are usually compatible with both PCs and Macs. I use both and have several external hard drives formatted for one or the other. That sometimes makes transferring files from the PC to Mac or vise versa difficult. This little guy solves that problem for all but the largest transfers. So in summary the small size might be an issue for some people as it can easily be lost but there are ways to overcome this and as long as you know that going in its a great product.

Nice, Tiny flash drive
These drives are VERY small and work well. They are designed to be left attached to a laptop or system and not get in the way, which they excel at. When I have one attached to my ultrabook, I barely notice it, and it can go in and out of the case without needing to be removed and without catching on the bag. For this purpose, I think they are excellent. The speed of the drive isn't amazing, I get approximately 15mb/s read and 4mb/s write, but impressive for the small size and sufficient for nearly all uses of a usb 2.0 flash drive. It does have an orange light that indicates usage. I have a love/hate relationship with this light. On one hand it seems nice to let you know it is active, and it is not a harsh color or brightness. On the other hand, if you use it in a dark room, it can be distracting. My only real gripe about the drive, and why I removed 1 star is that unless you leave it permanently attached to a system, kind of defeating the use of a flash drive, it is a royal pain to handle, and I find that a string lanyard of sorts is nearly a requirement. These are hard to get a good hold of to remove, and I often drop it. The tiny size that is such a pro when it is attached to the system, becomes a con when you have to look for it after it bounced off the floor and is hiding from you. I am sure there are uses for this drive that rarely if ever require it to be removed, but in my eyes, a flash drive is most handy to move files about, which requires removing and attaching between different systems (computers, stereos, microsystems, etc.), and with this usage, the drive is annoyingly difficult to handle. Yes, there is a hole for the near requisite (in my eyes) lanyard string. If these came with an easily removable (for those uses that don't require moving the drive around) string attached to them, or a slightly different designed head, I would happily give it 5 stars, but as they stand, I just can't give it a perfect rating. Would I recommend them to any who asked, yep, but I recommend you also pick up some fish line or thin string.

Worth Taking A Look At This One
This is a solid and reliable product. Here's why I gave this thing 5 stars: I travel at least 15 days per month. While out of town at a restaurant, thieves broke out the back glass of my SUV and took a backpack which included a laptop, iPad, flash drives, keys, chargers, Blackberry etc. My work and personal lives were in that bag so this experience prompted much research into secure file storage. I realize it was ignorant to leave a bag in an unattended vehicle but I felt comfortable because it was a bright sunny day, a popular restaurant with a very busy parking lot (with a security camera), the bag was hidden in the well behind the third row seat and the vehicle windows are the darkest legal tint for Texas. It was impossible to see the bag if peering through the any of the windows. My vehicle was the only one hit by the crooks so I asked the officer how they could possibly know my bag was in the vehicle. He schooled me on the fact that crooks are using a very inexpensive and widely marketed tool that locates wireless signals from any device actively talking to any type of wireless network. My bag contained a Blackberry that was talking over the wireless provider network (sending and receiving data). With pinpoint accuracy, they were 100% confident that some sort of wireless device was in my vehicle. As it turned out, they had a big day (as did the pawn shop and drug dealer I suppose). Dont think the trunk of a car is safe either. The crooks will simply break the driver side window, pop the trunk and they'll be gone in less than one minute. The point of this review is that it's of utmost importance to secure your files. I purchased this product because of the encrypted vault feature. If you can log onto a computer, you will be able to set up the security very easily. The security software is so very easy to use. Setup is extremely efficient and user friendly. Sure, you can use this SanDisk tool as a normal thumb drive without encryption and passord but they made the "Vault" so easy, why not use it? The negative aspect of this product is also the reason I use it. It's so small that it could easily be lost or misplaced. I really like the micro size of this thing because it does not protrude from the usb port. On the other hand, it's so small that it could be easily lost or misplaced. So... I found a small waterproof pill bottle that has a keychain attached to one end. When not in my computer, I store the drive in the bottle. If you are looking for mobility and security, this is a great tool.

Performs its desired function perfectly
I bought this for the express purpose of storing MP3's for use in a 2013 Ford Escape. The USB port in the center console is arranged in a way that caused me to hit my Corsair Voyager when going in or out of the console. I was concerned that the flash drive or USB port (or both) would eventually become damaged. That's where this little gem comes in. This flash drive is so small, I feel like I might accidentally inhale this thing if I'm not careful! That being said, it resolved the size issue perfectly. No more snagging and it holds all my music with room to spare. I can echo other peoples experience with painfully slow write times. I don't recall how long it took but it was over 30 minutes to fill it with about 13 GB's of music. When I first installed this in my Escape and attempted to test it with the MyFordTouch interface, I heard the Sync lady report that "this device does not support streaming of copy-protected media" or something to that effect. It then proceeded to play music anyway. Not sure what prompted that message but it appears to be irrelevant. The speed of the drive seemed to cause a delay for the indexing of the files (which Sync uses to find your songs) That delay may have been what caused the "error". Again, it plays the music just fine and hasn't had any issues since. When I use voice commands, I don't notice any difference in the time it takes Sync to find and play my songs so it appears the read/write speeds are not an issue for this application. While I would like better performance from this flash drive, I bought it for a very specific task and it performs that task perfectly so I felt compelled to rate it 5 stars. The size is likely contributing to the slow speed so honestly, I can't complain. There is give an take with everything! I definitely recommend this drive for anyone with a Ford vehicle that is equipped with SYNC.

Tiny, functional way to increase storage capacity, at an awesome value!
I love this SanDisk Cruzer Fit 16 GB USB Flash Drive. For $12, it adds 16 GB of capacity to my laptop PC, and the form factor of this drive is so wonderfully small that it can stay plugged it permanently even when transporting my laptop to and from work. It protrudes out from the USB slot by a little less than 1/4"! Since the drive is so small and fits very snugly in the USB slot, this would not be a good choice for someone who needs to routinely move data from one computer to another--always pulling it in and out of USB slots. However, it is perfect for someone like me: I take my personal laptop to work and do most of my computing on it, but I also transfer all of my data once each week or two to my office PC so that I have a backup in case my laptop's hard drive fails. As a university professor, I also occasionally need to transfer a presentation or other materials to a classroom computer. Having this flash drive permanently residing in one of my laptop's USB slots means it is ALWAYS on hand when I need it. Lastly, this is also a cheap, effective way to add extra storage capacity to a laptop. The write speeds are a tad on the slow side, but perfectly acceptable for most uses (all except truly gigantic file transfers). For instance, I was able to transfer over 1.5 GB of information (consisting of hundreds of documents, spreadsheets, html files, and web images) in only a few minutes, so it's great for that kind of use. However, I would not recommend it for transferring massive, multi-gigabyte video files, or things of that size, as I suspect it will seem slow. All in all, I'm very pleased with this flash drive. It is certainly the smallest form factor I've found in a USB drive. Very highly recommended--especially if you're looking for a small but spacious drive you can leave plugged into your laptop's USB port on a semi-permanent basis!

Great for GTA V on XBOX 360!
I ordered this flash drive to load the play disc (disc 2) for GTA V and use instead of spinning the DVD disc 100% of the time. Not only does it make more noise, but this also risks overuse of the laser within the DVD drive and can shorten the lifespan of your system. Considering this is my fourth XBOX 360 system (slim), I want it to last. Rockstar recommends NOT installing the play disc to your local XBOX hard drive since it is already being utilized to read install disc (disc 1) information. This is a great way to keep your hard disc free to read from disc 1 while you have a non-DVD option to supply information from disc 2. This flash drive is tiny - I am pretty much blown away at how much storage space they can cram into such a miniscule object! I plugged it in on the back of my XBOX since dealing with the door cover on the front of the unit was pretty tedious. It fits like a dream and is not noticeable at all. Startup was simple - just format the flash drive and then install the game disc to it instead of your system hard disc. I am happy to report it worked like a charm. There is some slight pop-in you do not see when you play from the disc, but it's well worth the reduced sound and strain on your sensitive DVD drive instruments. This is money well spent, and I have 8GB left for another game if I choose, but that extra space is nice to have open so the drive reads quickly and efficiently. I bought this solely for GTA V and would recommend other XBOX 360 users to do the same.

Nifty little thing
I had earlier purchased the Sandisk Ultra Fit for use with my car stereo. I have been unable to get it to work with my car stereo. Works well with my Smart TV though. Then I decided to give the Sandisk Cruzer Fit a try for the car stereo. This works like a charm. A great little pendrive especially to use in the car, as it does not stick out like a sore thumb like other pen drives. It has a little LED indicator light which is neat. Overall if you are looking for a low profile pendrive that you can keep plugged into your device at all times without it getting in your way. This is the one to go for, especially if you want it to be compatible with your car stereo. For faster speeds go for the SanDisk Ultra Fit.

Excelente producto.
