Not such a great value, and the color was off
I bought an XL cartridge along with this separate color cartridge, hoping to get better performance than with the previous combo packs. This was not the case. These 2 cartridges lasted less than 3 months, far fewer pages than I was led to expect. And those things that were printed in color never seemed to be quite the right color, everything had a pinkish tinge. Since I purchased the Kodak printer in late May, 2012, I have gone through 3 sets of ink cartridges. August,October and January - I have had to purchase ink. Somewhere I read that you should get >400 pages from one ink cartridge, my results have been nowhere close to that. I have used less than a ream of paper in the past year, fewer than 300 pages in total since I got the Kodak printer. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.

Very good
I invested in the Kodak printer because of the advertised cheap ink, after suffering for years with the ridiculous charges for Canon ink; the Kodak was supposed to be cheap and re-fillable (I've had no luck finding refilliale cartrdges since I had an early 2000's Canon printer) , but I was unlucky by the time I got around to trying one one of these Kodaks. They had changed from their original ink cartridges, the number 10's, to the number 10a's and 10b's (which have less ink), which I didn't know about until I'd finally gotten around to taking the plunge, They are still cheaper by about $20 for both the color and black cartridges over the Canon prices of about $50, so I I'm still ahead, and they work fine, which is a crucial point, too. Since Kodak went out of business, I guess we'll really be out of luck when they stop making the cartridges for their printers.

POOR OUTPUT
I regret buying a Kodak printer because despite Kodak's claims that you save on ink, it's quite the opposite.Although I rarely make color copies or printouts, I didn't know that every single word in black type uses the clear toner of the color ink cartridge. Therefore, I was constantly forced to purchase color cartridges even if I never used the blue, yellow, or red ink because once the clear ink was exhausted, then the printer would stop working until I replaced the color ink cartridge.WHAT A WASTE!

Economical & Good Print Quality
My primary reason for wanting a Kodak printer was the ink costs. You just can't beat their per page print price. This ink lasts a good long while and the colors are great for everyday use. If I'm printing something important where detail and vibrancy really matter, I use my more expensive Epson. But that one literally costs near 100 to replace all the ink. So my Kodak will remain my daily use go-to printer, and the Epson, is special use only. Kodak's pricing on ink just can't be beat. I hope they stay in the printer business awhile. I have tried generic inks for my Kodak too, but without question, this name brand is better and lasts a good while. Will buy again.

Kodak color ink.
It was very easy to purchase the cartridge from amazon.com, I just looked up the numbers on my cartridge at home punched in the correct kodak number the price was great and I didn't even have to leave my home the product arrived as promised I followed the simple instructions to install and I am very happy to have my printer working again No hassles or problems I am ill and can not leave the home by myself and having had 5 kids who have basically all moved out within 7 yrs. to pursue their own lives I need to have this option to just things I need without bothering them or my husband who works, cooks and basically takes care of me. So Thankyou Amazon.

Not so good.
I bought the Kodak printer because the ink cartridges were supposed to be much cheaper. They are a bit cheaper but the price has gone up more than once. The volume of the ink in them is no prize either. They last a bit less than others that I am used too. Also the printer tells you that you are out of ink before you are actually out of ink and you can't use the print anymore until you replace the cartridge. I even tried to pull it out and put it back in to "trick" the printer. NOPE! Time to get a new cartridge. You can't even print in black if the color reads as empty. I am disappointed. Thanks Kodak

Thank You Kodak
I purchased more ink after Kodak suggested I do so because of a problem I was having with my all in one. That didn't cure it, then after contacting Kodak a second time they had me purchase a printhead, that didn't fix it. They then told me my printer wasn't repairable and they could offer me a discount on a better model. Mine was out of warranty by 4 months. If I wanted they could sell me a refurbushed unit with a 90 day warranty. I no longer have A Kodak all in one. The ink and printhead have never been used.

Great Picture printer, unfortunate situation that they are no longer being made.
I love the KODAK inkjet ink, I washed a full color pic by accident, no smears, runs fading, a little wrinkling. It truly a shame they are not going to make them anymore. I hope they continue to sell the "real" KODAK ink for some time. I hesitate to "stock up' for fear of degradation or that my print head might die and I would be stuck with a load of unusable ink if I can't find a replacement, I guess I could but another print head just in case...

Disappointed
I gave this a 3 star cause it runs out so fast. I do not use it that much, I am suspecting they don't fill with that much ink and the chip on the cartridge tells my computer that it is fill just like the gas tanks at the gas stations. Has anyone had this problem?Angel
