Tiny Houses, tiny living
Loved the book, but after reading it, I decided that it really wasn't something I wanted to do. Being elderly, the thought of climbing up and down for bathroom brakes at night, does not appeal nor does it appear to be quite safe. But I learned a lot, and handed the book to someone who is young and single, and might be interested in living tiny.

The best information I have seen.
The absolute best up to date information on the tiny house movement. I am impressed with the research and the information he is putting out there. From the building aspect with prices and the legal aspect with what you should know to the insurance aspect on what can happen...this is the most informative book I have read yet!!

Simple, Approachable, and Saves You a Week of Research
I was planning on doing research on my own, but for how cheap this book was, I decided to buy. It saved me hours and hours of time on google, and answered questions that I didn't even think to ask. Many sections are named after the questions, themselves, making it an approachable, almost conversational, format. It's not going to walk you through a blueprint, but it equips you with respectable knowledge to start, and it provides a looooong list of resources at the end. For $8, worth it.

A Great Resource
Live Tiny & Be Free is an excellent resource for those who are thinking about simplifing their living to a tiny house. The information provide is concise and well organized. The book is easy to read and provides numerous options to consider. I highly recommend this book for all those interested in joining the tiny house movement. There is much to think about before diving in and Jordan makes the process so much easier. Looking forward to his next book, How to Build a Tiny House on Wheels on 60 Steps.

Packed w/ Information...Well Organized & No Judgements ;-)
I am by nature NOT a minimalist type.. I am a sentimental fool & collector.....that has a secret dream of having what I love..but finding a balance..However, while dreaming of a tiny bungalow in a garden of my own..I seemed to get lost in-between toss it all ( which made me feel like I did something wrong because I didn't want too..lol) and alot "ideas" & pretty pictures.. and lots of bits & pieces..I was skeptical about reading another book that was supposed to give me all I needed..I can say I was happily surprised.I needed a roadmap & a realistic view of what it will take to get what I want .. point by point..*I really urge you to just click that " Look Inside" on the book cover photo up top of this page..when "inside"-if you scroll down, you can see for yourself just how detailed ..well organized & simplified he has made it for you. I actually walked away feeling like it didn't have to be as overwhelming as it seems .. yet, makes you realize there are things you do need to know & take into consideration on your choices..like city codes, permits... the pros & cons of every choice .. etc.Even though packed with information, its far from " dry".. it was nice to feel like I was part of the conversation because when discussing downsizing he takes a realistic view & more open to the idea that you can actually have what you "need" but also dont have to sacrific things you just want & love...with alittle ingenuity in design..~ but finding that balance :-) ~which honestly makes someone like me feel I can do something like this & be more open to to different ideas I wouldn't have even thought of.:-D
