This volume was a return to form it added the comedy back, some heartbreak, epic fights and happy reunions. Harley Quinn is a very bright spot in this volume, adding humor and heart, with her own twisted sense of humor. Batman is still in the shadows still recovering from what Superman did in year one. Superman goes from protector to dictator as he starts losing foot holds on his turf. This Graphic Novel has had the most significant deaths to the DC Universe (note this comic is in alternate universe and does not effect current DCU. Superman and Hal Jordon both terrorizes in Yellow lanterns of fear as they join Sinestro Corps. Sinestro uses the distraction to settle old scores on Guy Gardener and John Stewart. Dr Fate steps in to write a wrong, by breaking his own code. Cyborg has half of face ripped off. This graphic novel stepped up the epicness of what this comic book series can be. Superman distraught kills The Joker and declares martial law on the whole world, vowing that no one should die needlessly. He develops a pill that will make ordinary people super to start an army of supermen that he controls. Batman wants the world to be safe but still give the people free will, Batman sacrificed his body to get the formula for the super pill to give his side a chance. Superman's action have drawn attention to the Green Lantern Corps who's power is all about will power, see this as an affront to not let free will. Sinestro is manipulating Superman telling his own story and the way the Green Lantern Corps will attack, he makes an alliance that brings Sinestro and his minions as added protection. The Gotham P.D. is told they are not needed as the city is being patrolled my Superman's army, but Batman has a gift the pills that give super strength. Jim Gordon has been diagnosed with cancer, the super pills speed up the process but he needs them to protect the city. There's a mole on Superman's team that keeps feeding information to Batman's team. Batman and the Green lantern Corps have started planning attacks together.What I Liked: The stories are spread out where everybody gets equal time in the back issues. The Black Canary and Harley Quinn fight is both funny and heartbreaking. Jim Gordon's line to Batman, about he's going to be the one disappearing on Batman this time, when speaking about his cancer, I'm not supposed to cry reading comics. Hal Jordon and Superman putting on the yellow rings of fear. Sinestro's mind games and twist in his narrative. I liked the reveal of the defector on Superman's team. Detective Bullock takes the super pills is a great scene. The many shocking deaths of known characters in the DCU.What I Disliked: The whole Clayface plot line didn't seem to fit in this series. Clayface says who sent him and it just didn't make sense to me. Way too much Green Lantern CorpsRecommendations: This series is super epic I have enjoyed reading it so much and can not wait to continue it. If you always wanted to see Superman and Batman really go after each other in a bitter blood feud, then this is the comic for you. I thought the first half was the weakest of the series so far and the back half totally redeems that to make this my second favorite moments since the first big moment that started off the series. I rated Injustice: Gods Among Us Year Two the Complete Collection By Tom Taylor 5 out of 5 stars.

The book arrived on schedule, and it was a great read

Reading all of this collection at once for the first time was amazing. I really admire the writer for not only being able to handle all of the numerous characters so well but managing to create such emotional moments that flow well in the mix. There's tons of chaos and something always going on in this universe, that's comics for you, but while you get that in full albeit sometimes dark glory, you have these amazing emotional moments. Sad oftentimes. But also humorous. Harley in here just cracks me up, even side characters I can't remember the name of. The timing of it all is superbly balanced! All in all, this is a good read for anyone who is interested in superheroes.The art is good, the pacing as well, and the utter balance which this is written with. It's also easy to get in, I was a little worried as I'm not into Green Lantern stuff, but that didn't even matter. I found myself getting into the dilemma and even the deaths that come from the big buildups with the Corps.(Then the very end, I won't spoil it, I kind of saw what would happen coming with the events of the previous year, but there's a sprinkle of happiness to be had, maybe cheesy but gosh darn it. They deserve it.)

This book is just amazing. Some people say Superman would never do anything like this. A!l it takes is one bad day, one horrible act to drive anyone over the edge.The second year doesn't let up on the action or character development. There's a lot of great scenes, especially with Jim Gordon and his people. I loved the takes on the Green Lanterns, especially Gardner, and Black Canary. Great art, especially from the under rated Mike S Miller.This is the type of story that Tom Taylor excels at, and he doesn't let up once.

Only gave it 4 stars since the book was delayed by the seller and it had some damage (torn pages). Great story though. Whenever you think of Guy Gardner always seemed like a joke character in DC and ta that's kind of how I viewed him in year two but he really came into his own in this book. Had me on the edge of my seat from front to back. Can't wait to pick up year 4!

Year One of Injustice was fantastic, but Year Two may be even better in some ways. In the same way that a good TV show might expand its core premise with a subsequent season and further build out its world, Injustice takes the binary Regime versus Resistance setup of Year One, and adds more complexity by bringing in a cosmic element, the Green Lantern Corp. Although I consider myself a DC fan, I've always had trouble connecting with the Green Lantern stories, but in this series, Tom Taylor uses them so effectively as a new faction that is in some ways a welcome competing element to Superman (who you want to see struggle), but at the same time, almost an obstacle you kind of want to see Superman overcome (and because the video game takes place 3 years later, you already know he does). Normally, knowing where a story is going can hamper enjoyment, but here, it works all the better because it's not so much about what ultimately happens, but how it unfolds, what characters are involved, and how they make the decisions they make. This is another home run from Tom Taylor and is an achievement right up there with the first volume. Definitely worth checking out.

I am not a big DC fan, but this is a great book and a great read even for folks who haven't had a lot of experience with comics. Nice, self-contained story and really high quality, good looking books.

Kiddos order this. Wish they would turn it off for a while. You can only watch it so many times unless you are a teenager.

Won't spoil anything. Injustice year 2 manages to portray the goodwill of Gotham's citizens with characters like Gordon whos handled extremely well, in combination with the writers somehow managing to take the other worldly lantern corps into a deep grounded story that stays within the themes of injustice such as power and what's right while also giving a pretty great and deep Green Lantern story.

Highly recommended. It explores characters in a realistic way, with incredible artwork and one of the best stories DC ever made.

Great book, the saga is a must if you are comic guy and this edition is perfect to read it a few times without harming it, which comes to be of high value if you care about the preservation of your collection

Got repetitive.. nothing new after the first book..just one group replaced by another..this time Superman against the lantern core..yaawn
