First I would like to add that I brought this for a Asus ROG setup to compliment Motherboard, Asus Aura Theme!I give it 5 stars!Let me first add there is nothing special about the Mechanical aspect of it as it performs just as well as my $35 wireless on key clicks.I love the detachable wire which comes in handy if you don't want the keyboard to light up when the system is off as it will correspond to the Motherboard Aura which is Awesome I really like that and is an added benefit!I like the size and really don't see myself purchasing the side kick unless I find it online for dirt cheap... as of now I think its like $80.I had some problems with the directional keys but it got resolved when I upgraded the firmware and now works perfectly!It fell and the F1 key completely broke off and made it look horrible with that missing cap as the stem is what snapped. I was able to crazy glue it back together and its strong and looks like new again... however the cap is now stuck to the key, but not a biggie.The ROG claymore software is needed for the upgrading and configuring profiles... but I had to uninstall it as conflicting with Aura Lighting. I guess the trick is to set it up and configuring it with claymore software but then uninstall so Aura will use it at startup to Match all other lighting effects.The Look is awesome... the patterns look good and it does look like you paid over $100 dollars for the design.The weight is great... feels heavy but isn't, it actually feels solid!The cord is thick and strong.As I said I brought this to more match my ROG/Aura theme but its a good keyboard...

I have had no problems with the keyboard its self, the key caps can come off after some years of use, and the leds start to dim after about 6 months, but hey for what it it its not that bad. I would buy one again, the paint can come off the keys if you have lots of salt or food on your hands.

Nice product! As others said, it is indeed easy to setup and configure as there are detailed instructions. It boosted the signal pretty good both for a PC and mobile phone. I took one star off as there is no information about the manufacturer or the website where a firmware upgrade file can be downloaded. The manual says download "from our website", but none is provided, that's odd! When I searched by the device name, "WF8500", I found only a closely related (by item name) Samsung washing machine and Epson printer in top results... When I attempted to go to slopehill.com (the Amazon seller "slopehill"), this web address was not valid (actually listed for sale), so it must be not the manufacturer name. No clue from the item itself, its box, enclosed instructions or description on its Amazon web page. Fortunately, a firmware upgrade is optional step, and the WiFi signal was boosted already. There was a couple of other minor issues. 1) The Installation Guide says that before starting, check if there's anything missing in the package, and contact your dealer of purchase to claim for missing items: 1xWiteless-N Repeater, 1x RJ-45 Networking Cable, 1x Quick Installation Guide. RJ-45 cable was not included, but I don't see on the Amazon product description page. This option (using a a cable) is optional, and you can configure a new network wirelessly, or use your own RJ-45 cable, but the Guide seems outdated as is. Ok, the repeater is cheap already, fair enough :-) 2) There is a "USB charging interface" on the Repeater from both the Amazon product page and Installation Guide, but it's function is not described. I presume it is not required for charging the device, but possibly provides an option to connect to a USB port to power this Repeater if there is no AC outlet? 3) The Amazon product description listed 2 other features - "Guest Mode" and "Fast Charge", but these are not addressed in the Quick Installation Guide (and no website address as I mentioned above).Within our apartment we lose signal in one of the back bedrooms which just happens to be the master bedroom. This obviously creates issues if we want to watch YouTube while laying in bed which is why I wanted to get a Wifi extender to see if we could boost the signal. Upon plugging the booster in and running a speed test we saw great improvements in both upload and download speeds in that room. Purchased this wifi extender to help get a stronger connection for our skybell wireless doorbell. We were getting laggy videos and slow alerts when we had a recorded video. My husband purchased this wifi repeater to hopefully get the skybell functioning at at least 85-90% for better videos and faster alerts. My husband was able to set up the repeater as an extender very easily. The instructions are easy to follow and within 30 minutes we had it completely set up and plugged into the outlet nearest the skybell, we are now getting 92%. We tested the videos and alerts and all are working as the should. Before getting this extender we were thinking of returning the skybell. This extender was what we needed to complete the doorbell upgrade at a great price. I recommend this repeater to anyone needing an extender or access point to add to their existing wireless network. You won't be disappointed.

Update 4/10/2017: Replacement keyboard got here two days after submitting the RMA. Kudos to Amazon! Replacement is working well out of the box, and after the firmware update. However, I still have a few keys, especially on the num pad, that take a couple tries before the keystroke registers. But after about 20 presses, each one seems to have "broken in", and register pretty well. I'll keep it for a while and see if they all eventually improve, but definitely better in the replacement than the original. Upgrading from 3 stars to 4 stars.Original Review: Keyboard looks amazing. Love the feel of the Cherry MX Red switches. Detachable NUM pad is a great feature that I plan to use often. The scroll bar for the volume is pretty handy.Software and firmware is kind of a miss. I don't particularly like having to use separate software (ROG Armoury) to set the lightning. You can do it through the Aura Sync software, but mine bugged out every time I used it. The ROG Armoury software isn't very well put together and it's pretty difficult to get the colors exactly where you want it. Setting the RGB numerically failed every time.Three stars for this because the unit I received was defective out of the box. Most keys are unresponsive for the first 10 or more strokes, and a lot of the keys input multiple times. I've upgraded the firmware to what the Armoury software is claiming to be the latest version, as well as setting the speed to x1, but I still have issues with the keystrokes. I've RMA'd this unit and will update my review when I get the replacement.
