My ProBook 450 G2 doesn't have the connectivity for the backlight functionality, so there's just a spare cable hanging thereBut besides that the keyboard works flawlessly!

It works like the original keyboard

This is advertised to fit a pro book 455 G1 and it definitely does not. They keys are the same but the frame wouldn't lock in because the plastic pins that hold it in are spaced differently. Prepare to return this if you don't do your research on the exact part number of the replacement keyboard that HP says to use.

Not a whole lot to say about this replacement keyboard.It was a bit difficult to install. The screws just did not want to get started. I think maybe the holes are ever so slightly misaligned - we're talking microns here. But after fussing with it for way too long (about a half hour) I managed to get the screws in properly and managed to get the keyboard installed in my HP ProBook 450 G1 laptop.Once I got it installed, it has remained firmly in place for a few weeks now, and it has worked perfectly with no problems at all. Flawless.So if you have the time and the patience, then I think you'll be happy with this keyboard. I am.

Keyboard was easy to install, arrive via prime next day. Have never seen such a small shift key. Tend to hit the back slash key to its right more than the shift key which is the same size as the letter keys. Never had a keyboard where the shift key did not cover the same space as two keys.
