Yosi Samra vs. Tieks
This review is looking at both the Yosi Samra 2.0 Ballet flat and comparing them to the Tieks.I bought these ballet flats as an alternative to spending a lot of money on Tieks. I've been looking for a comfortable ballet flat for a long time and have tried many different brands. The Yosi Samra and Tieks are definitely the best for me. I have foot pain and need comfortable flats for the few times that my attire requires something other than running shoes. :)After wearing both, I'm struggling to decide which to keep. There are differences between the two shoes.First, is materials. You can tell that high quality materials are being used on the Tieks. This doesn't mean that the Yosi Samra are in any way inferior, but there is a definite difference. Personally, I like the fact that the Yosi Samra has a black bottom and not the eye catching blue on the Tieks. The Yosi's weigh slightly less, but nothing to cause concern about. Tieks are hand-stitched, Yosi's are not.Second, packaging. Both flats come in a fun box. The Yosi's include a nice black travel bag. The Tieks include a fun flower over their box and include two travel type bags. I find the small black travel bag that comes with the Tieks unusable - you really have to squash the flats into that bag. It also comes with a blue, grocery shopping type bag that I think is almost too big. Yosi's travel bag is perfect in this regard - not too big, not too small - perfect for many uses.Third, how they feel. Both are comfortable. The soles on the Tieks are firmer than the Yosi's. The Yosi's are springy and cushiony. Despite the firmness versus cushiness - they are both comfortable to wear - this is really going to come down to personal preference. At the time of writing this review, I still have not made a decision on which to keep, but here's what else I'm considering.Cost - I splurged for the Tieks and took them on a trip. I was afraid to pack them in my checked luggage. I wouldn't be afraid of packing the Yosi's in my checked luggage if I needed to.Long term durability - I don't expect the Yosi's to last as long as the Tieks. This might be a perception thing based on price and at this point I can't validate this statement.Use - I don't wear flats that often so they cost breakdown is not as good with the Tieks.A lot of this is really subjective depending on how much you plan to wear the shoes, foot problems, budget, etc. If you have the money to spend and wear flats a lot, it might be better to splurge on the Tieks. If you don't, the Yosi's are perfectly comfortable and nice looking too.

Black smudged feet after 1st hour
I'm an 8 in most shoes, I ordered the 9 and am so glad - still tightish on the toes but it's leather and I'll use the sock stuffed in toe to relax it over time. My biggest issue is the black dye used on this leather. Per another review, when I take my feet out the tops of my toes are black. Since I purchased there for work shoes and I'm in and out of people's homes for work. Many people now have a "Please Remove your Shoes" in their homes policy. I won't be able to take my feet out of these shoes. Given this is a known issue I'm surprised Yosi Samra has not fixed it. I have a lot of black leather shoes and the dye doesn't run. Can someone tell me does this happen on the navy and other colors? I'd like to hear from Yosi Samra on what I can do to the leather inside to fix this dye....white vinegar???

Cute, cozy and worth the money!!! (So far)
I have been looking at Tieks for years and couldn't get past the price point! I stumbled across these on Amazon. I was on the hunt for new flats to replace my Lucky Brand Ballet flats, that I walked holes into.😢 (only had them for less than 6 months). After reading the reviews I decided to take the plunge on these because the price point was better than Tieks. They feel amazing! Super comfortable! I hope that they last longer than all the other flats I have purchased. The other reviews are correct on the black dye that wears off on your toes. Hopefully with time, the leather will stop doing it. 😣 Not a deak breaker, because my Lucky's did that too. I usually wear a 7.5 in my usual dress shoes(Steve Madden) and went with the 8. They feel Great! The leather feels like good quality. It is also nice that they don't have the signature "teal" sole that Tieks have. Thanks for the reviews that said these are comparable if not better than Tieks! Time will tell! 🤞They hold up to my daily wear!

Great foldable flats for vacations or shopping trips
After reading many reviews I bought these ballet flats to take as an extra pair of shoes on my month-long trip to Europe. Since they fold and come in a handy cloth bag, I carried them in my purse. I literally wore them all day walking around London after other shoes hurt my feet. They were awesome! No need to break them in at all. I also wore them one day walking in the Old Town of Bern, Switzerland, on a cobblestone street. I could feel the unevenness of the pavement through the soles but it didn't hurt. I highly recommend them.

Amazing
I am a school counselor and walk on concrete all day, so I expect a lot from my shoes. I am surprised at how comfortable these are. I really wanted some ballet flats, and had been looking at the teal bottomed ones when I came across these. I like the memory foam insole and the elastic on the top better than the others. They are soft and flexible, and feel like you're wearing slippers. I did add a gel arch support and had plenty of room in my regular size shoe. I actually forget all about my feet during the day, which is pretty amazing for me. I ordered a second pair after one day of wearing them!

Nice leather and very comfortable
I will start with the positives. Nice leather and very comfortable. 2 stars to that. However, every time I take them off I have stong black dye on my toes and it is getting worse with time. For the price paid, it is uncalled for. Not happy about the purchase.

Yosi Samra Ballerinas
