It has been a long time if I have used a Starskin sheet mask. I used to sometimes get one in a subscription but I couldn't remember if I liked them. Four for $36 makes each $9. A little pricier than the ones I have used more recently. I was excited that this one is hydrating and I was relieved when I opened it, that it had the three layers I have become familiar with-the first layer you peel off, then you place the mask itself on the face and peel off the last white plastic layer, leaving the mask on your face. I hate the kind of masks that don't have layers and you have to slowly peel it apart or risk tearing it. The mask gave me a glow and was so hydrating! It didn't feel sticky at all and I loved how much serum was left on my face after I removed it and tons of serum was left in the bag. I took some of the serum out with my hand and rubbed it into my skin. The issue I had with it was that it is 70% coconut. Coconut oil is considered comedogenic, meaning that it can make you break out, especially if you have oily skin. It was very hydrating and moisturizing, so it definitely did as promised. This a great mask. It would be best for dry skin, but even people with oily skin can get dry. Just be aware that if you choose to use it, there is a high percentage of coconut in it.

I used my last mask today, and each mask made my face feel healthy and look good. These masks are effective at hydrating my face and the ingredients agree with my skin. Pros: 1. Soothes, moisturizes, and my face feels good after using a mask 2. Mask is easy to put on 3. These are so awesome. One of the most high quality masks I have ever tried. The serum in these is also amazing. Extremely hydrating. Very high quality, thick mask. It does kind of slide around if you are trying to walk around but not too bad. It did not stick to my skin all the way, it was a bit big, this was my one issue with this is that it was too big for my face. I found it very effective for moisturizing, smoothing, and making skin feel and look refreshed. There is also so much serum in the mask pack so you can continue to use the serum without the mask, which the serum is really great so this is a wonderful plus. These are a bit pricey, but I understand why because of how effective and high quality these are.

These Starskin skincare masks are pretty good overall. - They stick well to the face as long as it's direct skin contact and there's no hair in the way. - It feels nice when it's on. It doesn't irritate my skin. Around the half hour mark is when it feels like it's time to take it off. I don't wash my face (except for my around my eyes and mouth) after removing it and I haven't had an issue with letting the serum sit there like any other moisturizer. - They don't irritate my eyes, or only do a very minor amount, even with how close the serum gets to my eyes. However, if I do get a little in my eyes, there is a little bit of irritation of course, but not that bad. - It seems to moisturize well. It doesn't leave my skin feeling really soft like some other moisturizers do, but it feels like it does moisturize really well and helps a good amount with skin elasticity, reducing wrinkling with skin stretching. - There is a good amount of serum on the mask and it's spread around evenly. - They're kind of pricey, but there are a lot of good ingredients in it. Regardless of the mask form, serums/moisturizers with a lot of good ingredients tend to be pricier. - There is fragrance added to it unfortunately but it's fortunately a pretty light fragrance so it's not that noticeable and doesn't cause much irritation.

I'm not a huge fan of these sheet type masks, I just never saw the appeal, but this one is pretty nice. It made good contact with my skin and stayed put for the duration of the treatment. I have dry, sensitive skin but noticed no irritation or redness. There is a slight scent, but I didn't mind it. I did love that this is a cruelty free product, which is an absolute must for me, and it is also a vegan product. The sheet was thick enough that I didn't tear it which can be an issue with this type of mask. It was moisturizing but only in the short term. I didn't feel that this reached the deep layers of my skin as much as my favorite moisturizer. I also thought these were quite pricey, hence the 4-star rating.

I love face masks. Not only can they be relaxing, but they can also have great short-term benefits to the skin. This is one of those masks that does both. I’d heard of this brand before, but I’d always been hesitant to try it because of the price. Would it really be worth the cost? The answer is yes. The mask itself is more durable than other masks - it won’t rip when you try to apply it. I put it in the fridge to help add an extra cooling effect, and it felt really nice in the skin! Not only did it de-puff, but my skin also felt very moisturized afterward. My skin texture appeared more even as a result. I would definitely get these again!

General PSA: For those of you who've not tried out under-eye patches or face masks etc., both are highly recommended. It isn't a vanity project--just something to make you feel calmer and more relaxed, and give your skin a much needed hydration boost. The effects are not going to be permanent (obviously) but regular usage does make a difference and your skin tends to stay hydrated for longer periods of time. Now with that out of the way, this review is for Star Skin face masks. As far as face masks go, these are decent. There is plenty of product/serum in each mask and they're easy to put on, stay in place.. no major fragrance to to them (Mind you, it isn't 100% fragrance free; there is a LITTLE something in terms of fragrance, but nothing that'll irritate your nose/skin etc.) These are supposed to have coconut oil infused in them. So was excited to try this out. Sadly, this is NOT one of the better masks I've used. First up, it dries out much faster than any mask I've ever tried. You'll be lucky if you get 1 hour out of one--mine topped at about 30 min. The instructions tell you to leave them on only for around that time, too. The mask is somewhat easy to put on (it does have two protective layers, FYI) and stayed on ok. But overall, while it moisturized my skin, I didn't get any wow factor/feeling like I have with some of the other (less expensive! LOL) ones. Plus, it does feel you face somewhat sticky after use, which wasn't super great either. The other issue I had with this product was the price point. Way too expensive tho' the quality of the product is decent. You get 4 masks for about 40 bucks, so that's almost 10 dollars per mask. Trust me when I say this: this mask is not worth the premium asking price. You can get masks that are WAY better than this one, with similar/comparable products with brands like Biodance. Again, if I have a proven mask that I know works, why would I pay the same amount of $ (or even more) to try out a newcomer that I know nothing about? Overall, these were an B+ in terms of mask efficacy but these were graded down to a B- due to lack of lasting power and the price point. If they're on sale, or if the manufacturer decides to price it fairly, this would be a bit better, but overall, there are better ones out there for you to try.

Super easy to put on, leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. It has a lovely light fragrance. Skin is glowing the following day!

Die Anwendung ist einfach, wenn auch nicht unbedingt für ganz lange Zeit geeignet, dafür ist sie nicht elastisch genug - wie ein feines Tuch. Glücklicherweise verbleibt im Tütchen immer noch ein Rest des Serums, so dass ich am nächsten Tag noch großzügig damit nachcremen und das schöne, gepflegte Gefühl noch länger fühlen kann- perfekt!
