Does what I wanted!
Bought these labels to tag carry bags of Thanksgiving meals for shut-ins. Our town's cooperative church outreach cranked out and delivered 270 meals. I created a database of all the recipients in MS Access and had Access print the labels on my 20 year old Brother laser printer. The old printer misfeeds normal paper so I hand-fed each sheet of labels. They printed well, did not smudge, peeled off the backing readily, and stuck to the brown paper bags like they were welded on. I attempted to remove a label from a bag that got soaked with turkey gravy. No dice. I finally just cut it out of the old bag and taped it to the new one. Very satisfied. I'll use them again next year.

Perfect for bottle labels
I use these as labels for bottles. It is the perfect size for labeling 12.7 ounce bottles. The positive points are: 1 - They do not jam, bend or otherwise get messed up during the printing cycle. 2 - They peel easily from the sheet, but stick VERY firmly to glass. 3 - They are thick enough so that they can be applied to bottles smoothly with no wrinkles. This is a HUGE advantage over some other types of labels we have tried. 4 - The 5264 template is built in to most major software packages. Setting up the labels for printing was a breeze. The negatives are: Haven't found any yet! One reviewer mentioned that he had problems removing labels once they were applied to bottles. First, that's generally a good thing. The last thing I would want to happen is to have the labels just slide off after getting wet or being subjected to temperature changes. However I tried removing labels for the first time last week and didn't really find it all that hard. What I did was rinse the bottles with hot running water for a couple of minutes. I then places the bottles in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes. The labels peeled right off for the most part. In a couple of cases there was a bit of adhesive left on bottles, but that rubbed off easily enough while the bottle was still hot. My wife actually then used a bit of an environmentally friendly degreaser on a bottle that was not boiled, and that seemed to remove the adhesive easily enough as well. I highly recommend this product.

Can't beat Avery
These labels are a must-have for our office. We use them almost daily, and the quality and durability are great. They feed through our printers and adhere to our cards without any problem. I will continue to buy these for our office. I've tried other brands of these labels, but you can't beat Avery's quality.

Both packages were damaged.
I have been using Avery labels for years and they are excellent. My problem today is both packages have been dropped on the top left corners of the packages and the damage extended to the labels inside of the box. I tried printing a label from both packages, and they worked without issue. Since the labels work, I will keep them, but this type of damage, if extensive enough, can cause paper jams. THIS IS A HANDLING / TRANSPORTING ISSUE, AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AVERY LABELS.

Avery makes the best
I own a public accounting firm. We have used a lot of labels!~! I have tried different brands--like Quill, and other brands. I like Quill labels by the way, but I do not buy them any longer. I always return to Avery because they are WHITE WHITE, they stick, they so not discolor in a laser printer or copier, they do not deteriorate. I found several sheets in a desk drawer that were at least 5 years old. Guess what? They worked just as well as if they were new. YES--they COST MORE. But, if you can afford the price difference, buy Avery.

These are good quality labels
These are good quality labels. You can run them right through just about any color printer from a low end home color printer to a high end color printer. I have use them at home and at the office on a commercial color printer, the labels work well on both. These labels are perfect for creating beer labels if you are a home brewer. To remove them, peel off as much of the label as you can, them run under hot water or soak in hot water to remove the adhesive. It is simple to remove the labels if you want to re-use the bottle.

Good labels, annoying templates
I like these labels. They’re a good size not just for shipping labels, but also for other general labeling needs at work. I haven’t had any problems using them in my laser printer. My only complaint is that the Avery downloadable label templates are total garbage. It’s hard to make multiple pages at once and the formatting always gets all messed up. So, I took a few minutes to make my own template in PowerPoint.
