This temperature and humidity monitor for indoor environments is perfect for those data-driven customers who want to keep a pulse on their indoor temperature and relative humidity as they seek to optimize their comfort while stemming potential humidity issues (e.g., too much humidity in summer leading to possible mold growth and too little humidity in winter leading to dry skin, bloody noises, and annoying static electricity discharging when touching metal surfaces). What I love about this particular monitor are two fold, namely, accuracy and aesthetic look when placed on wall. You see I am an HVAC owner who of course am interested in everything related to temperature, humidity, and as a tangential pursuit indoor air quality. I've scoured the Amazon products for the ideal temperature and humidity monitor that was both relatively cheap to purchase, has a good warranty to support it, and most important of all accurate in the measurements rendered. When you look at the data specifications provided it is as accurate as one gets for an indoor air temperature and relative humidity monitor without having to move substantially up in price to attain a closer degree of accuracy beyond the published +/- 0.3 Celsius (i.e., equivalent to 0.54 Fahrenheit) for temperature resolution and +/- 3% for humidity resolution.I have professional grade thermometers that have similar resolutions which cost way more than this indoor temperature and relative humidity monitor, which in my mind makes this a bargain. Additionally, you will find no other indoor temperature and relative humidity monitor on the market that has as aesthetic of a look when placed on one's wall. I have this little monitor placed in the laundry room to monitor how far the temperature reported deviates when running the dryer versus when not in use. Other manufacturers of similar indoor temperature and relative humidity monitors are less accurate and way too unreliable to be worth spending or even going through the effort of affixing to your wall. As a side benefit of resolution, you can use this monitor as a means of comparison to detect any wide deviation as to what is reported as indoor temperature at your thermostat. It can sit nicely atop the current thermostat and provide a means to detect any deviation in true temperature of indoor environment and provide additional information about your indoor environment by providing the relative humidity as well.Bear in mind, comfort is very much a function of relative humidity. The higher the relative humidity in the summer the lower the temperature must be on the thermostat to satisfy one's perception of "comfort." Whereas, if one were to lower that relative humidity into the Goldilocks range of 40 to 60% one would find themselves just as comfortable at a higher temperature reading found on their thermostat resulting in less use of the AC system to match one's comfort level.Anyways, do yourself the favor and purchase one of these badass monitors today. You might even find yourself running experiments to understand how one's actions (e.g., running dryer, cooking, taking hot shower, etc.) affects the temperature and relative humidity reported on one's monitor while congratulating yourself in your decision to buy such a nicely looking monitor.

I purchased this item to help me stay up to date with the humidity levels in my bedroom. I set up the item within a few seconds and it quickly read the temperature and humidity. I do not have the capacity to verify the accuracy but I have found that if I move it to different rooms or levels it is quick to change to fit the new setting. I love being able to be more aware of my surroundings in my room! It is not ugly by any means either!

Decently accurate and a nice display, although it's darker in real life than the picture suggests. It's just a basic LCD display, so dark on dark.The magnets that connect it to surfaces are barely strong enough to hold it up, so if it's on a refrigerator or another surface that gets moved and/or the device gets touched occasionally, it will drop straight to the floor.Another problem I found was that it kept resetting to Celsius, as this is the default. The reason was because the battery chamber was not tight enough to keep the button cell pressed against both connection points. Fortunately, a quick and cheap fix was to fold up a piece of paper and put it between the battery and the opening on the back.I gave it an extra star though because once you removed the 4 screws in the back, you can glue in your own magnets if you want to give it extra hold. I didn't feel like spending the extra money to do that though, so now it sits on a shelf using its kickstand, which i fortunately did not break trying to open and close the battery compartment multiple times.Overall, visual design, could have used a little more work on the function design, but if you're going to put it up and nothing ever touches it, well worth the money.

I bought two of these, one for a bedroom and one for my living room. Before I moved them to separate rooms I had a chance to compare and test them against my neighbor's expensive weather instruments. They proved remarkably accurate!! Each was within 1/2 degree of the temperature and 1% of the humidity on his instruments. And they both almost always displayed identical readings. I feel very confident in their readings. For the price, these were a great value.

While this thermometer looks nice, it's not sturdy, has an unusual battery size that's difficult to find replacements for, and is not accurate.Pros:- The screen is easy to read.- Good-looking design.- Flexible mounting, with the magnet and stand.- I appreciate the 0.1-degree precision.Cons:- The "Trend" almost always shows the temperature staying the same, even when it is slowly going up or down.- The stand is not very sturdy. If you're careful with it, it will be fine, but I'm worried it would break off if it fell.- The battery is an unusual button cell size which is expensive to purchase. A battery lasts around 6 months. Why didn't they just use a AAA battery like others?- Over the year that I owned this, accuracy got worse. Often it would be off around 5 degrees, which is completely unacceptable.

I am using this to help keep track of the temperature and humidity in my workplace, that way we can have accurate reading of our sales floor. So far its been very accurate and i like how you can zero out the trends for temp and humidity with an easy button on the back

I don't normally write reviews but this really annoyed me. I wanted a large display temperature and humidity read out display. Thid seemed to have fit the bill. Upon receiving it the display would go out and reset to its Celsius format. No problem. I just reset it. Then it happened again especially when the back was touched. Apparently, the battery cover or compartment had a short or was just too damned touchy. I will replace the batteries and be sure NOT TO EVER touch it in order for it to stay on Fahrenheit and work.
