I purchased this for my grandson to use in a large basement and in the yard. I bought the 6 x 4 ft folding model in black (for contrast outdoors with a standard silver chain link fence - the prices of black and silver were about the same at the time I purchased). I was able to set it up easily, using dog agility tunnel sandbags on the ground bar (instead of ground stakes) to prevent tipping in the basement. My grandson is a toddler and has been using it with a size 3 Nerf ball.I see rare reviews that say that the net is wobbly. The bars hold together with push buttons like those on my vacuum cleaner wand. Unlike the stiff, straight, single continuous tube of an assembled vacuum wand, the net tubing takes turns and has attachment points both top and bottom and left and right. The wiggle room is necessary so that only one person is required to assemble and disassemble the frame. If the metal frame were completely rigid, it would require two people acting exactly in unison at opposing attachment points to put the metal tubing together and take it apart. That wiggle room is not a design flaw.One piece came defective, and Franklin Sports responded immediately and generously so that my grandson had his perfect Christmas present on time.

The first thing we did with this was take zip ties to secure the net (just for added protection). Assembly was quick and it was super easy to move when needed.However, the reason I’m writing a review is because this soccer goal survived a blizzard and it’s still in perfect shape! Over 70mph winds and about 4 feet of snow and it looks just like it does the first day we got it.Inexpensive, but great quality. Definitely would recommend!!!

I started a soccer league at my middle school and these are perfect. I have to bring them in and out of the building so storage and portability was a big one for me. Made out of steel so they don’t easily break like my old plastic one. The net does run small and the net holders do suck. However it’s nothing that replacement zip ties can’t fix. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent product, i would buy it again

While this is REALLY easy to put together and extremely lightweight, I would not consider it portable. I bought the 6x4 and I am already considering adding the 12 x 6 to our yard as well. I felt the price was fair for the product received.

Super easy to set up ...

Easy to assemble,solid net

Net is not as wide as the metal frame leaving gaps so the holders can not fit all the way around to hold it in place. Otherwise it works great.

Looks flimsy when put together but Great product and solid. 15 year old Kid plays competitive Level and is using this net excessively. The net never flipped or broke. Used during Canadian winters and resisted. Yes soccer is played in snow. When you love the game you do what you have to do! Easy to install. The only issue is the Velcro to attach the net, they didn’t last a week so reinforced with cord.

This product is easy to but together and doesn't take much time at all. Comes with a good quality net as well.I am giving it 4 stars however, because the top bars kind of sink in the middleI would still recommend as it is easy and fun!

Well made and an excellent value! Don't think it's as sturdy as a 1000$ soccer goal, and that's not the point of this particular goal either, but it's more than good enough for my kids to enjoy, provided they don't hang from the top bar or else it will bend. For the price however, I couldn't be happier!

We really liked this net, but within the first few minutes of my seven year old playing with it, one of the velcro tabs holding the net to the pipes ripped off. I don't know if that means it's poor quality or just that one tab wasn't sewn on well. We'll have to wait and see how it holds up...
