These are the greatest sponges for dishwashing. They are as advertised, i.e. long lasting and odor resistant. I believe these sponges easily absorb dishwashing detergent, but not food, per se. Hence, the fact they are odor resistant. Unlike regular sponges, you never have to "nuke" these to get rid of that old sponge odor. If you were to clean a utensil that had traces of peanut butter on it, after cleaning it off, you will notice it remains on the surface of the sponge, where it can be easily removed, rather than being absorbed into the sponge like ordinary sponges..

I wanted and expected simple, absorbent sponges with songs surface on both sides. What I received was sponges with abrasive, scrubbing surface on one side. Not what I wanted. Disappointed. I would like to know now I can order regular sponges with the sample sponge surface on both sides.

I have no complaints. I can only find these on Amazon and at Walmart. I've purchased them for my daughters also. Love these sponges and so do my daughters

Love these. Way better than any sponge. Never has that "roach" smell. Lasts SUPER long. My Walmart stopped stocking them safly, and this is the only way I can get them.

I have been using these scrubbers for years and find them to be one of the best on the market. They last a long time, never have an odor and rinse out completely when used on messy pots and pans! Also they feel much better than a sponge to me.
