Great solution for mycology work
Wouks better than metal lids as the magnetic stirring bead is not attracted to the metal lid. Easy to use.

Expands off of jar in pressure cooker
Using large mouth ball jars, pressure cooking at 15psi for 20m, lid slipped off during removal of jars from pressure cooker. Its seems the plastic lid expanded in heat beyond the threading of the jar.

I am (SO FAR) pleasantly surprised by these - Time will tell.
So far so good. These lids held up to sterilization temperatures. Jury is still out on the injection ports and how long they will last. The do show visible indents from the needle insertion point but so far the rubber seems to seal up well. I am a little worried of the longevity of these ports. At least there are 2 ports so you can use both sides. I wish the one way filters would actually lock onto the lids as those coming off will yield a direct entry point for bacteria/mold. I hope the manufacturer will fix these issues in future items. For those reasons I will give them 3 of 5 stars.

Garbage
Total crap.

They leak and contaminate easily
Chinese made junk. They leak, the "gasket"s are worthless even when they stay in place, nothing like getting a handfull of liquid culture when you're trying to draw up a syringe. Avoid. Overpriced, learn to make your own, not at all difficult.
