Q: What’s the dig brick made out of? Clay? Plaster?

I’ll assume that by “dig brick” you mean the material used to pour into a Dino track to make a mold of it to carry away. My guess would be plaster, but consider this: some years ago I rode my off-road capable BMW GS1000 to Moab, Utah, and with the hel of a paperback book of the geology of the area, rode a couple miles on a keep trail off the paved road to an exposed by erosion set of about 10 or 12, 3-toed dinosaur tracks about a foot long and 3’ apart where a dinosaur had walked in the mud, the mud got baked solid in the sun, then buried by…dust storms?…natural cover?… then uplifted again in recent times and there for all to see. No fences or restrictions, walk in ‘em if you want. MOAB: Can’t recommend it too highly; a wonder-filled place.
