Shortly after I got this, I got a warning that one of my apps had attempted to commit advertising fraud. I only had a handful of apps installed so I was suspicious. I ran a virus checker on it and had three "system" apps get flagged. I was able to remove them, but now I am too suspicious to use it for any important apps or accounts. Only use this phone if you are not using it for anything private or confidential.Update:I continued to use the phone just as an emergency car phone. Every week or so I check and sure enough, new malware has self installed. I uninstall them and shortly thereafter, they return. As I do not have any apps on the phone that did not come pre-installed, I know these are not things I have accidentally installed myself. I tried to get access to the phone's files to see if I could remove it there, but you cannot access the phones memory by USB. Not only is there Malware on the phone, you can't go into the system to remove it.

SO it's not a super awesome phone, and for $100 I wouldn't expect it to be.But what it is:Small, but just barely useable with my adult fingers.Clear on both ends.Has wifi and bluetooth that both work as well as one could expect.Speaker phone that is not crazy but definitely adequate.A screen that you can read clearly.Works with all the apps I've put on it so far (I'm not going to try minecraft)Works with Telus, no problem.Has a second card slot for another sim or for memory.Battery seams to be pretty good so far.I like it. It's small, light, and does the job

We bought this for our anxious 9 year old. The Apple Watch has not come out with the family plan yet so we decided this would do in the meantime. It’s actually pretty great! She can phone and text. The sound is clear. It is very small but not so small it’s not useful. It’s very useful. We live in Vancouver BC and our he’d a SIM card from Telus, it’s costs us about $30 a month. We decorated it with stickers so it can be seen easily. Overall it’s a great phone and we’re super happy with it.
