It works on Overtone color
I used this to remove a horrid Orange color I tried while in quarantine. It was a weak moment.I tried washing and washing and the color was not fading. So I found this and gave it a try. After about 5-6 shampoos the color was almost gone. After 3 weeks, there is no evidence that I made a terrible mistake one night....FYI - it does not work immediately, it is for fading, not stripping.

Great product!
I bought this to help strip the hair dye out of my hair. It smells great and didn’t damage my hair at all! It didn’t take all of the dye out in one wash but after a few washes, my hair dye was almost all of the way out. (The hair dye I had was sticking in my hair and nothing else helped to get it out)

Didn't fade
I accidentally dyed my blonde balayage way too dark with a medium brown semi-permanent color from Wella. I was hoping to tone it down to a light brown. After 15+ washes, there has been no difference. I even tried not using conditioner for a while and just washing with this and air drying. Absolutely no fading on my semi-permanent color. This was useless

Don’t waste your money!
If i could give zero stars, i would. In addition to not working AT ALL, the opening is very small and it took about 30 seconds to squeeze out enough product into my hand. I have blue semi-permanent dye and this didn’t even make a dent in it.

Working very slowly
Colorista is impossible to get our and I thought this would help. it is working slightly better than regular shampoo, but only slightly. My advice is never color your hair with colorista, but if you do, you will need to use this produce for several months before your color will be remove.

Fades well but not fast results
Nice scent. Does come out slow from the bottle. It does fade colored hair but if you want fast results then this isn’t the product for you. I dyed my hair with splat hair dye and now fading with this shampoo. After a few washes I saw results. It went from red to an orange and whitish pink color. Does dry out your hair so use with conditioner.

My daughter has dark blonde hair naturally. She used the pink shade and it didn't fade out. We bought this to try and it didn't work. It lightend it a tad after several uses, but didn't remove the color (which is still in btw) save your money

Definitely not dramatic results
I used this hair colour remover on my box dyed black hair. The product seemed to have faded my hair from dark black to a dark brown, but it definitely didn’t happen overnight. It probably took nearly 2 months of use before I saw good results, and it’s hard to say whether my hair just faded naturally or if it faded because of this shampoo. It might work better if you are trying to remove brighter colours like blue or pink but if your hair is dyed a dark colour, you probably won’t see much difference.

Don’t Waste Your Money!
If you’re trying to get colour out of your hair, don’t waste your money. A clarifying shampoo does more than this, hell, REGULAR shampoo does more than this. At home ‘hacks’ are more effective. Colorista, shame on me, because you fooled me again! My hair is pink (over bleach blonde), and it’s been fading for 2 months. I bought this product to speed up the process, because I *thought* it would be better than all the other things I’d already done, but, NOPE.

FADER?
I used Colorista, pink, blue and teal. The pink didn't stay in my hair & washed out the next day, every time. The blue and teal however are a different story. For temporary colour, they just don't wash out. I bought the Fader and used it every day for a month (after having the blue or teal in my hair for at least a month) and it still didn't 'fade'. Nice shampoo but not sure about it's 'fading' properties

Great to FADE not REMOVE colour with an amazing smell
I purchased this to help fade a SPLAT demi permanent colour. I knew, going in, that this would strip the colour out of my hair. And it won't completely do that for any temporary colour... there is typically still a little bit of residual colour.BUT! The product did exactly what I was hoping.. helped to FADE not remove the colour. Plus side, it smells amazing and cleans my hair beautifully. One down side is the nozzle is tiny. So it takes a while/more pressure to get the product out of the tube.Bottom line: I would buy it again.

Fully read description, be prepared for limited results
Didn't realize this was specific for reducing the same brand name dyes, granted I didn't take the time to fully read the description either so this is what you get. Can't say for sure that it totally didn't work, but I also can't tell if the very miniscule amount my hair faded after use was a result of this product or just normal wash out that comes with shampooing dyed hair in hot water. All in all, I most likely won't be buying this product again.
