Brentwood 557 Corduroy Bedrest, Navy

When my son gets a cold, he can't stop coughing when he's laying down. This makes sleeping a challenge. So I usually bring in my bed pillow for him to use. It helps him prop up while trying to sleep.The problem is, it's pink. And being a 14 year old boy, he doesn't want anything bright pink lingering in his room for longer than necessary. Especially one of his mom's pillows. At the same time, he loves using a bed pillow even long after he's gotten better. So the solution was to get him his own.I ordered him this blue one for Christmas and it's a great size for him. It might be a little small for a man, but for my teenage son it's a good fit. And it doesn't take over his bed. He uses it to prop up and watch movies or play his video games, and so far it been holding up well.It's a good fit for a kid, teen or an adult not looking for one of those huge bed pillows that also weigh quite a bit. This would also perhaps be a good size for someone elderly, who is looking for a lighter bed pillow that's not difficult to carry or shift around.

Excellent for price point,- pillow was NOT too hard, nor overly mushy. It certainly keeps its shape, it's still holding well after 7mos. of DAILY/nightly usage without being an overly "ridged" uncomfortable pillow... I found it worked great for post-surgery needs. I bought two, used by 2 family members post-surgery at the same time, so it was important for the pillows to "support them" while not being so hard that it caused them pain..luckily this pillow was "just right" & also the cheapest "adult-sized" pillows I found on Amazon.. (My husband is 6'3" 175 lbs. & my daughter 5'6" 117 lbs.) When sitting up in bed, my daughter (whose torso-area surgery was serious) felt fully supported without feeling like the pillow was so firm it caused her pain post surgically. My 6'3" husband however required an additional pillow placed at the top of his backrest-pillow, (to support his upper back-shoulders, his surgical-incision was a bit smaller than my daughters') & inspite of requiring a regular pillow placed above, he still found the back-rest pillow comfortable, & useful while convalescing,-& he is VERY PICKY. So overall, the Cheap price point,-($25 per pillow, while the other adult-sized-pillows on Amazon were $50&up) combined with the quality of fabric-- (while it was pleasant, rugged-material - I'd hardly call it "traditional corduroy",- which is how it's described in its advertising) & the fact that the pillows are maintaining their shape Id certainly say it was an excellent value. We're Still using them! In fact, sometimes I invert my husbands back-rest-pillow & use it as a "leg-wedge" for myself! (but I'm only 5'1" w/a 32inch-inseam) I doubt someone with longer legs could do that! lol..So,- PLEASED OVERALL, $25 each, adult sized, good bargain, - also it shipped immediately from the merchant I bought them from..(pillows owned since 09/2014,--& Still great "shape" etc.) Good Luck hope this helps!

I liked it, just wish it were more plush

Bought this one for my college student to use in a very small dorm room. No room for a more than a hard desk chair, so the twin bed had to serve as the only lounge space; most bed pillows I found were huge but this one was the perfect size. Adds comfort when needed, and can be easily stored when not. Fabric isn't luxurious and who knows how long the inner padding will stay plump, but still an OK value considering all factors.

This bedrest / pillow chair is exactly what I wanted. It is not too soft - thereby providing adequate support as I sit up to work or read to my kids in bed. The arms /wings of the pillow are also not too wide - thereby allowing my husband adequate room on his side of the bed. Lastly, it isn't to heavy, a problem I have had in the past with these types of pillows. I haven't had to clean it yet, so if that process alters my opinion, I will update this review.

The product is what I expected as the photo.However, their packaging is poor, or saying worst I've experienced. The product surface is fabric, it means vulnerable to water. It is unprotected by any sort of wrapping besides low quality cardboard box. And the two sides top of the box is even not taped (top: center taped, bot: center+sides taped). Plus, the absence of cushion inside made the box shaped very bad from the three-weeks-length transportation. I could even see the product from outside without touching the box.

When I received this product, I was skeptical because of how light it was. After using it, I was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable & supportive it was. My only complaint is that it is starting to lose its shape now, & I've only had it for ~1 month. The outside material seems durable; the pillow itself is supportive; over time, the shape loses form.

I got this to replace one that I got about 20-25 years ago and which was falling apart. I wasn't sure this would be big enough or supportive enough, but it was just as big as my previous one and very sturdy while being comfy and soft to the touch. I love the fact that it has a handle on top, and that it has a small zipper at the bottom. I'm not 100% sure how easy it would be to get the cover off and back on, but I like the idea that I have the option to try that if (when) it gets dirty.

Great corduroy arm pillow, feels soft and seems are quality sown. Well worth the price for the Navy Corduroy when on sale for $32, now I see the price is $109, for the $35 I paid and now seeing the price jump 3x more, I'm very glad I did'nt put off buying this pillow as I bought it not long before the price increase from $31-$109. Not sure why but some Various colors were almost $15-20 more in price which I still haven't figured out yet, which has now changed i see as I write this update. However, this is good quality, and very comfortable, can see it lasting quite sometime. I Recommend. Even that much more if you see it on sale for under $35 for the Navy. It has the build quality of a premium put together pillow, but in the end, its just that, a pillow. Any more than $50 I personally would pass but great product non the less.

Inside material is not so good. It got pressed now & now even looks like it was. I won't suggest anyone to buy it as it does not serve the purpose after 2-3 months.

Love this bed rest pillow. It is firm, comfortable, and appears to be well made. It also matches beautifully with my duvet and pillows. The only improvement that I would suggest is to make the arms a little longer. Otherwise, it’s great!

PROS-It was absolutely fantastic. You got what you expected in addition to great quality. Its soft to the touch and does not feel cheap at all. Plus, you don't sink into it. It has good support.CONS-The only thing I wished was different is how tall was the back. It stops midway, for an adult at least.

Great colour, soft, filled nicely... but I honestly had to check to see if I accidentally ordered a kid's sized one. I'll keep it; mostly because I'm too lazy to repack it, and it does have better back support than the regular head pillows I've been using while typing in bed.
