This thing cut tubing square and easily works great

Needed this for my annual Reverse Osmosis filter change…cutting the plastic tubing with scissors is a frustrating chore….never even cuts. Perfect cuts are needed to prevent leakage. This simple inexpensive tool is a lifesaver for this task. In fact, essential! It works 100% of the time…it is worth the expense of 2 coffees….

For what I needed, this tool was perfect and worked beyond expectations. I needed to get rid of a small length of leaking 1/4" OD tubing, add a shut-off valve and remove an old inline filter that the plumber who removed our RO system said, "ah, just leave it there, it's not hurting anything". The cuts were perfect and part to push in the collets was easy to use (in reality, you fingers work just fine for that). All done in about 10 minutes for a first-timer. Well worth the money.

My BIL is a plumber and he approved of this. He used it while he was here as well and it did a very nice job of cutting the water tubing for my water filter. He said it probably won't last long (the blade sharpness) as others have said but said it's still very useful for someone like me (not a diy-er) to have in the home tool box.

Bought for an airbag install and it served it purpose. BUT I had to make multiple cuts to get the most square cut. The blade was not a razor sharp as it should have but still after careful use I was able to get my 90* cut.
