This is a great guitar
This just ins't a great guitar for the money...it's a great guitar period. It was playable right out of the box. I got the blue one and it's very pretty. The pickups are so smooth. They are JM style pickups and have a great tone. If you are on the fence...go ahead and get one. The back of the neck is satin and easy to play. It has a nice weight and the Jazzmaster shape is great to play while sitting down. The workmanship is excellent. The fit and finish is A+. I paid $269 so make sure you get it for that price.

El verdadero sonido alternativo a un precio razonable
Sonido suave y conciso, la whammy no desafina tanto las cuerdas pero si después de un rato.

Beautiful budget guitar. Don’t hesitate!
I LOVE this guitar. I have been admiring the Lake Placid blue since I saw it. What the pics and listing don’t mention is that LPBlue is a metallic color! It is full of shimmering flakes that really up the visual appeal of this instrument beyond what the photos can depict. Now how does it play? Mine arrived in excellent condition, with intonation virtually perfect out of the box. Maybe I got lucky, but many other reviewers seem to have had the same luck. The single-coil pickups provide a nice sonic toolset for a variety of Fender classic tones, and the neck and fretboard are a nice balance between technically demanding (sharp frets) and smooth strumming (polished neck). In summary, this is an incredible value Squier guitar and I can’t believe I was on the fence for so long. If you want one, BUY ONE!

perfect to start out
any thing can be modified , with this guitar a couple pick-ups , quality strings can and does improve sound character . if your not into it , others can and should help . very inexpensive modifications can go a long way a lot of fender dealer parts , pieces are interchangeable with very little effort
