Best 40.00 I ever spent and my noisy dryer is as good as new!The Item arrived quickly included the items listed in the kit that I needed for my repair!On a side note, you will need snap ring pliers to complete this installation. Luckily i had a pair on hand. do yourself a favor and while you've got everything apart for your install, get a vacuum and clean up all the filth and dust that has accumulated during the life of your dryer. this will not only make things run better, but will eliminate potential fire hazards of dust and lint that accumulates where it shouldn't, like around the heating coil for instance.If you have trouble figuring out how your dryer comes apart, there are some decent you tube videos that break it down pretty well. basically you remove the front door and that allows the front panel to pop forward and expose the other bolts/screws that you will need to remove in order to access/remove the bulkhead and then remove the belt from the tensioner and free the drum. once the drum is free you can replace or repair the roller wheels that support the weight of the drum.Have fun!!

Make sure you have all the right tools!!! Also make sure you take pictures of how the dryer looks before you take it apart. I replaced the belt, the 2 support wheels and the white support wheel for the belt. It took an hr and a half because I didn't remember how to put it back together but it solved my problem! Our dryer was squeeking really loud when it would run. It was the belt and white wheel that needed to be replaced but I replaced all the parts while I had it taken apart.

At first, the parts worked well, but after a few weeks, I noticed some noises coming from the dryer. After a few months, it was clear that something was amiss. The noise continued to get louder until it could not be ignored any longer. The roller wheels had all but come apart. I could see rubber shavings all over the inside of the dryer and there was obvious wear to the rubber part of the wheels. I double and triple checked the installation and they were installed correctly. My conclusion is that the rubber on the roller wheels was subpar at best. The belt and tensioner pulley were still in like new condition. I replaced the parts with a different brand and the dryer is happy and quiet once again.

This is a great kit for my Maytag MDE4000AYW. All the rollers and new posts for them, the pulley and glides with the rivets to install them! (You must supply your own rivet gun!) And a belt.However, the included belt is way to long! Luckily with my dryer in pieces all around me and discovering there is no way that belt will work, I had a backup!I have been known to be anal and reading reviews on here some said the belt was not included. I asked a question on here about the belt being included. I did not get an answer for a couple days and went ahead and ordered a belt separately just in case! Then I got an answer to my question simply saying "You BELT it is included!" However, the person did not tell me the included belt was too long!So back to me sitting in a pile of dryer parts with too long a belt, I opened the other separate belt I had ordered and it was the correct belt and my dryer is working perfectly now! No more squeaking noises!
