Evolon Pillow Protector | Zippered Encasement | Sleep Safe Zipper Cover 2 Pack Queen

I was suffering from breathing issues at night and waking up with a mild headache. The issues were not related to sleep apnea and my sinus medications were working good all day. I bought two sets of two Eco Living Friendly Evolon Allergy Pillow Protector for my four pillows to eliminate mites and allergens. I washed and machine dried my pillows and the protectors before using. The protectors washed as advertised, are soft, fit, and make no noise. I immediately started sleeping all night without breathing problems and waking up refreshed with no headache. Should have done this sooner.

Very well made - thicker than expected. A little stiff out of the package but softened up with washing.

I’m changing this from a 3 to a 4 because the stiffness has subsided and I can no longer tell the case is there. It still does not allow for the gel cooling effect inside so I’m not giving it a 5. My original review: These are soft to rub your face across but stiff and loud, like crumpling construction paper or butcher block paper. I have a pillowcase over it and it does nothing to dampen the sound. Because it’s so stiff, sometimes there’s an edge or point when I fold my pillow up under itself to mush it how I like it. Not sure I’ll be keeping these on. They also defeat the cool gel feature on my expensive tempurpedic pillows.

So easy to use and keep clean, and since I have been using these (plus mattress covers) I haven't had a single sinus infection - they are very soft and you don't notice it under your pillow. Honestly, I have had 6 pillows with these covers for probably 5 years, and just got 2 more for 2 additional pillows - I don't even remember they are on the pillow, under my pillow case. These are great and worth every cent.

My daughter and I both have dust allergies, and these pillow protectors have made a change for the better with our sleep. They’re very soft, and aren’t crunchy or sound like paper, as others we’ve had in the past.

My kids have stopped snoring as much due to allergies since I purchased these. Quality is good.

These are very good pillow protectors.They fit my queen pillows perfectly.These are the Eco Living Friendly ("elf") "Evolution" model with "evolon".After a wash, they are soft and cottony.The only downside is that the texture of the cotton is a bit like a flannel, and so they can potentially bunch up under the pillowcase and/or grip the pillowcase, since they are not smooth and "slippery".The next model up, the elf "Royal" is made with "Pristine" technology, and *is* more slippery, and I prefer that, though the Royal is twice the price of the Evolons.And, of course, on the Royal, your pillowcase may slip around on the pillow _too much_ due to the slipperiness of the Royal.So, really, you have to choose which tradeoff you prefer.

Have only had these a few days. Washed them before using and they are soft and not noisy. I am satisfied so far, but like I said I've only had them a few days.
