Almost immediately I felt more energy. I was amazed! I take it every day & there has been a noticable difference in both my physical energy and my brain functioning. I just found out that I have the MTHFR gene abnormality & I need to take a methylated B12 & folate. I took B12 shots for years & they did nothing because it was not methylated & my body could not process the B12. My blood test showed elevated B12 in my blood stream & that is a good indicator that you may have a problem with absorbing some supplements correctly. I can't believe the thousands of dollars I have spent on vitamins that didn't work. But Core Med Active B12 + Folate has made a huge change in my life. For the last several years I've been having weird symptoms--ringing in my left ear, tingling in my feet, minor breathlessness (the "sighs"), fatigue, and bizarre fingernails (curved like an upside down spoon from front to back--like they had a camel back in the middle). More recently really bad insomnia. No trouble falling asleep, but I'd always wake up in the middle of the night feeling very jittery and with what seemed like a slightly fluttering heart. Then one day I was cutting my nails and noticed that my lunulas (moons) had disappeared on my left hand. Did some research and found that all of what I've been experiencing might be due to B12 or folate deficiency. After about a week of popping one of these immediately upon waking (while lying in bed), my symptoms began to disappear. The moons on the fingers of my left hand were back within a few days. I feel great now. Research shows that oral B12 supplementation can be as effective as injections if the dose is large (which this is) and if it's the right kind of B12 (which this obviously is for me). In talking with family members, my mom's grandmother took B12 injections for most of her adult life. Might have finally found the (genetic?) problem. Excited to tell my Dr., as he has been perplexed by my symptoms for the last few years.

We LOVE this amazing product! My son and myself both have genetic mutations and he happens to have a compound Homozygous MTHFR mutation. These lozenges have really helped with the fatigue and brain fog! Its super easy to get him to eat them too, since they taste like candy ;) overall I would highly recommend these quality products for young and old alike! You won't be sorry about this purchase!

Let me start off by saying I usually don't write reviews but I have to let people know about this amazing product! As a working mom this exactly what I needed to maintain my energy level. I've been taking it for about a week now I have so much more energy! These pills definitely work right after you take them! I love that it tastes great too! Definitely going to buy more! Couldn't be happier with the results!!!

Takes 15 minutes to dissolve. I end up chewing last bit to get rid of them. Otherwise seem to work as well as other methyl supplements I have used.

Yes it Arrived and I Love it! Thanks for all the information too, about L-5MTHF. I have used it for almost a week and find that the B12 in your formula has some energy to it, I tried another L-5MTHF brand and it was very calming but sort of took away my "drive." I have 1 MTHF mutation and my husband has a double MTHF mutation. This common mutation blocks the absorption of folate. We are just trying out the the L-5-MTHF to see how it works for us. Caution is advised to start out slow taking L-5-MTHF supplements. Some people have reactions, vivid dreams or better sleep, a calming effect or greater sensitivity in your joints? ..it is difficult to tell how it will react in your system there are books out about this mutation and L-5MTHF. The first brand I tried was a bit overpowering, this brand seems better to me but i have only been taking 1 tablet for a week.

I have really no opinion about this supplement

I’m not really a supplement person, having been trained at a young age to believe that “Americans have the most expensive urine in the world.” My digestive system has never worked well, so I’m most deficient in vitamins and minerals I already have the most of, so why would my body respond to a supplement if it doesn’t already recognize the nutrition from quality food? Well, with a recent health crisis came lab work showing I have extremely low B12, and the MTHFR double gene mutation. Obviously I needed to try something. My sister is just as holistic-minded as I am, and she recommended this brand. She’s a psychologist who works with veterans, and she does a lot with memory and aging, and somehow this has been helpful in her practice, although I’m not sure how. Regardless, if my sister says a product is “the one”, there’s almost no reason to do more research so I gave it a shot. I’ve gotta say that I’m stunned. Before starting this product, at least five batches of labs has had both my b12 and folate below, or at the very bottom of the range. But after finishing one bottle, BOTH labs are in the UPPER THIRD!! Un. Be. Lievable. I guess being sublingual is what’s making it work — bypassing my defective GI system and going straight into my blood. Regardless of the reason, it’s working.
