Not exciting
The main problems I had with these apple rings were texture and quality. The texture was still very wet, like they were either cut too thick or just needed more time in the drying oven. The quality issue has to deal with little pieces of seeds and seed covers left in the product. I had to examine each one before biting into it, and remove the hard bits. Not the quality I expect from Trader Joe's.

Apple bread
Like a lot of people I started baking more during quarantine. I’m having fun experimenting with Bundt cake recipes and bread made in a bread machine. I made apple bread with these dried apples from a recipe in Beth Hensperger’s book The Bread Lover’s Bread Machine Cookbook These dried apples tasted great. I’ll definitely use them again. At first my husband brought home dried apple chips which are not the same thing at all. These dried apple are softer like raisens

Horrible
Horrible. Bone dry. Did not remove the core or stems. The dried core was sharp as a razor. Dried stems get caught in your throat if you don’t notice it.

Perfect Grab 'n Snack!
I love these, too much. They are the best thing ever when on the go and you need a quick grab n' snack. SOOO much better than trying to find something remotely healthy from a convenient station! And they are great when traveling by air!

The Apple Jacks Were Delicious!
I have been having difficulty finding dried apples at the grocery store for the past few years. I tried the Trader Joe’s brand and they worked perfectly and were delicious! I cooked them and made apple turnovers with them.
