Muddy will not ship missing or broken parts to replace or fix new stand.
The stand was missing parts and other parts broke before even getting it to the first tree.

Great tree stand. Easy to climb and is extremely comfortable. Arrived on time .

One Star
It broke once it was put together. And the box was ripped.

Loved the seat and way it folds but platform snapped
This stand has to be the most comfortable stand i have used. I have a summit and lone wolf and the summit is comfortable but the platform ia too small and the teeth to grab the tree are too big. The lone wolf folds small and is easier to climb but is limited on tree size and is a pain to set up nd break down and is extremely uncomfortable. Now the bad, this stand is not obvious to lock the strap on a dark morning. I was about 8 ft up a tree on monday and when i went to pull up the platform, the top popped off and i went flyying off, the stand hit me in the face and i needed stitches. Also my feet were stuck in the platform and i was hanging upside down. The platform bent in half and a friend had to cut the straps to get me down. I would still love the stand but check the pin in the tree straps first and dont use the foot straps to lift it. Find another way.

Good stand for price
I bought at local sporting goods store on sale. Everything was there. Pins attached by small cables. Instructions were weak. Watched several videos of use of climbing tree stands. Foot straps need to be installed correctly. Per instructions, pictures. came with only 1 strap to tie together. I added bungee cords to tighten up to carry into woods. Stand is 20 lbs plus the included safety climbing gear. Seat awkward to carry but comfortable to sit in. I used several times with no issues on clean straight trees. Backpack straps are okay not much padding. It's big, awkward and needs to be tested to carry and climb with into the woods. Like the bar across the front fits my gun and crossbow easily. All climbers are a challenge. This works for me.Age 54 and not in great shape, but managed to get in and out of the woods on public lands.

This stand is great in concept but junk to a guy that actually hunts. First off, directly out of the box it was missing pieces. I had contacted Muddy customer service and that turned out to be a horrible experience, they don't back up their own product! What was missing were a couple little pins, I wound up finding something that would work at the local hardware store. Climbs ok but the foot straps like to come undone on their own, safety hazard. The top and bottom do not pair up nicely to pack and carry. It's big and clunky. When in the tree and seated it feels terribly awkward. First time I used it the strap that holds up the back of the seat ripped pretty much all the way off. With all the moving pieces it seems like every little movement I make causes something to move, rattle, or squeak.Overall, spend the couple extra dollars and get a summit or lone wolf. This Muddy stand is not good for even the average hunter. Bottom line, I do not trust this stand due to its poor construction, poor service, and poor design.

Poorly built!
Hunted since i was 12 years old in climbers, hunted out of 15+ year old climbers and never have i oncd seen a cable and wire completely snap in half while climbing a tree. Had this stand for little over 2 years and is always stored in the garage so there shouldn’t be any issues with the cable literally snapping in half. On top of that, file a complaint on the website 3 weeks later still no answer back. Oh, and they don’t make replacement chains! Don’t waste the money

Disappointed
I contacted muddy customer service for replacement cables because the plastic coating was separating on mine just for safety reasons come to find out you cannot buy replacement cables for this stand so do not buy it because that's the most important part of this climber tree stand is them cables if you can't replace them what good is the stand
