My son had been wanting to try a fairly heavy 18-25 lb) weighted blanket. So, the hunt was on. I had two primary concerns:1). The outer material, it’s softness & how it felt against his skin (both of my kids are very tactile!).2). The inner weighted material was also a consideration as I preferred glass beads on the inside and smaller sectioned pockets where they are placed. This makes for an even distribution of the beads, therefore: the weight.••THIS BLANKET FIT MY CRITERIA PLUS, IT HAD GREAT REVIEWS!! It looks very nice on his bed and has no off-putting smell.One small drawback; It’s very heavy so I must take it to a laundromat and use a 4-6 load washing machine just to launder it, strictly due to its weight, esp when it’s wet!! It gets heavy enough that it would likely go off balance or overload even the best non-commercial front / top loaders at home. This is my third weighted blanket. The last one I bought I ended up donating because the side that was supposed to be “fuzzy” ended up a matted mess. Lint and dog hair embedded in it and I ended up hating it. After two washes, it was essentially ruined. So I bought this replacement and when I say I could not be happier, I mean it. The minky texture is silky and stays cool without ever getting too hot. You can shake pet hair off of it. It’s incredibly soft. But more importantly, the weight distribution is the absolute best. It’s heavy without making you feel weighed down, if that makes sense. And it holds up beautifully after washing and drying it. I honestly can’t sleep without it now. Highly recommend. If you’re on the fence, get it. You won’t regret it!

If you've never used a weighted blanket before, and you're intrigued by the concept, this blanket is a solid choice.Basically, humans have a subconscious need to be "held" while sleeping. This comes from the way we were handled when we were babies by our mothers. It provides a sense of being safe, allowing us to relax deeply to get the solid recuperative sleep we were meant to receive.This blanket will do just that. I use a smartwatch, and my sleep quality went immediately up, from a routine score between 65 to 75, all the way up to 85. No other changes were made, and my REM sleep duration also increased.Make sure your bedroom is as dark as possible, and keep your window open to receive a never ending supply of fresh air. If you do that, combined with this blanket, you will sleep like a bear during hibernation. I have no way to know for sure, but I feel like I also have less anxiety during the day. It might be attributed to this blanket.As far as the blanket itself, it's comfortable and heavy.5/5 Stars.

I like how this helps me sleep. It is a little heavier than I expected. I got the #20 per the size chart. I think the #15 would have been better suitable for me.I the purple which is the colour I got.I machine washed and dried when I got it and it held up well. I tried and couldn’t get a duvet cover over it to keep it cleaner longer.One negative, there was a tear along the binding. It didn’t go into the pocket for the sand and I was able to mend it. It looked more as if the end of the binding was used and it was unraveling.It’s worth the money even with the mending I had to do.

My wife bought this for birthday. 10% for a 270# guy was just stupid. We went with a 12 #. I love it. Not too hot. It minimizes restless legs and tossing to get comfortable. Usually asleep in less than 10 minutes and sleep thru the night unless the damn dogs wake me up.

I’m very pleased with this purchase. I bought the smallest size and only 10 lbs, which is perfect for a midday nap on the sofa. It can be easily folded and moved after, unlike the O.G. 20 lbs weighted blanket i purchased several years ago for my bed. I also specifically searched for a smaller/lighter blanket that is machine washable, as my dog likes to curl up with me for those midday sofa naps.

I got this blanket for my 17 year old son who loves sleeping with a lot of blankets bc of the weight but made him to hot, this blanket it perfect has the perfect weight and it is not super hot. The neutral color is really nice too.

Super happy with this weighted blanket as it is not as heavy as some others. Nice cotton feel fabric and the grey is very modern looking.

I am an anxious sleeper and decided to try a weighted blanket. I am thrilled with this particular blanket. The fact that it is a soft natural cotton is a huge plus. It not only feels secure and cozy, it looks lovely. I bought the pink one and enjoy the colour as well as the weight. I notice I am tossing less in my sleep, which is a huge bonus for anyone who is not a deep sleeper. Thank you for this product!

Nice and snug

As far a quality, the blanket it very well made. The bead seem to stay in place. Fabric is soft. No strong smeel when unpacking. I really thought I would love it... been wanting one for so long... but even getting the 10 pound one... i couldn't sleep... to heavy on my legs, I couldn't move easily. Try it for 3 nights just to give it a chance... one night even only placing it only on the top of my body but didn't sleep well. Felt more like a work out every time I wanted to move of switch sides. One thing I did notice is that even if I placed over my duvet I was not hot... so it is very breathable. It was just not for me.
