McAfee(R) LiveSafe 2017, For Unlimited Devices, For PC/Mac/Mobile, eCard

I originally bought this version of McAfee with a Dell computer. I really like being able to add any number of devices on to my account and not have to worry about being limited to 3,4 etc. This allows me to extend my current subscription by another 12 months, so I bought 3 of these and that added on another 36 months.McAfee has done a good job keeping my family's system clean.It is not very user friendly in a lot of areas but since I have been invested so long in it, I just overlook it. For example Firewall -> Internet Connections for Programs, I can only see 6 items in the list at one time, and I have to scroll. The real PITA is I cannot alphabetize them, which is completely stupid. I think it does it based on when it was added to the list but only guessing. Its things like that, that make it not as appealing as it could be.If and when the time comes I can no longer extend my account, I will look at other options.

I ordered McAfee LiveSafe on Friday and received the packet on the following Wednesday via USPS mail. What you get in the mail is a 4"x 6" cardboard folder like the one shown in the ad. Inside the folder is is a 25 character product key that you need to activate and download the software. I ordered this item because my subscription to McAfee LiveSafe was expiring in 4 weeks. I have been using LiveSafe for 6 years now, and find that this is an easy and inexpensive way to renew my subscription. I paid just $14 and got fully functional software direct from McAfee's website. Activation was a snap. Activation, download, and installation took about 25 minutes total. I activated and installed the software a full month before my current license was set to expire on 9/18/2017. McAfee recognized that I was renewing early and simply added one full year to the future expiration date and now show my license will expire on 9/18/2018. I highly recommend. - John Kerwin

E card received guides you to a McAfee web site to download, be careful, lots of phishing web sites that land you with an error code and a phone #. You will get a foreigner with bad English wanting to take control of your computer. I had to go to McAfee.com and get activated. McAfee needs to find easier way! As for the product, it is great. Many years of good results. This product does support google chrome for their safe search but not Microsoft edge browser.

Great price for protecting all the devices on your network. My subscription was running out and the price to renew through McAfee was much more expensive! In my case I was able to extend my subscription with the activation key. When I last used McAfee a few years ago you had to uninstall the existing software and then download a fresh copy so this was a pleasant surprise. I had switched to a different program in the past because I didn't like that you had to restart your computer after every definitions update but in the years since I last had McAfee they've eliminated that step. I've been very happy with the new Livesafe software and I had no problems with it.

It is a good deal for covering all my devices but no 5 stars since it is ridiculous to have to shop every year because the renewal price is insane. Why don't they just offer the renewal for the same price as buying it new. Oh maybe it's because they are hoping you will forget to cancel your auto renewal. Da!!!

For some reason I had a very difficult time downloading it. In fact I almost gave up, One time It even seemed that instead of getting a real McAfee rep. at one site after a download failed I got someone just trying to get some money from me. I tried what was going to be my last tryand after the 25 digit code failed again I got a phone number for what turned out to be a real rep. Even with her help it took about 45 minutes to download the program. Since I had a previous McAfee Livesafe installed when I bought the computer, that had expired, it seemed to complicate the issue. This seemed very complicated for something that should have been so simple.

Works well on multiple devices. We use this on 3 phones and a tablet. I feel like it keeps my devices safe.

Been using McAfee since it first came out in the 90s and been very satisfied with it. This makes it so easy to stay protected or get it. The instructions are simple and if you already have it on your computer, you just go to the web address given for McAfee inside the card and enter the number. If you are signed in as I was you're done, it adds 365 days to what you already have.
