Not Good
-The case is made from cheap frosted plastic which is clipped together by hinges, no screws anywhere. The keyboard almost weighs nothing. The bottom rubber feet help it barely stay still.-The PCB inside is cheap. Hot swappable boards aren't mechanically built to last longer than boards with soldered on switches, therefore with the light plastic case housing the board pulling switches out can potentially cause damage at some point. A positive thing I do want to point out you can create custom macros without the need of software on this keyboard. Unfortunately, the only way to create custom key layout is through software which can only be downloaded by contacting the seller and grabbing it from a google drive folder (unverified software is alway a risk which may potentially install something harmful to your PC)-The keyboard I was sent had a defective USB C port. It would turn off and on with any movement to the keyboard.Final note: The RGB shinning through the frosted case is a cool feature but not worth the price. The DK61E is a $55 hot swappable keyboard and the market is only becoming more and more competitive, I would wait for this keyboard to drop to $55 or below to recommend it.**Note: I used my own keycaps, the ones you receive will be the ones in the product photos**

Defective switches?
I loved these switches, so much that when they sold out on here I opted to order two more sets from the akko website. Unfortunately, upon installing them into my brand new Drop Planck, a few ended up being incredibly difficult to remove and exploded, sending the components of the switch flying everywhere. This happened to three of the switches. Three out of ten to a set, mind you. I was able to get the housing of the switches back together but the pegs of the housing lids are not flush to the rest of the switch and I'm now terrified to use them again on any of my keyboards.

Very good keyboard lots of plusses
A wonderful budget 5 pin hotswap keyboard. Switches are smooth, sounds good, and good build quality. Of course rgb is fantastic. I'm not sure why the other 2 reviews are 3 star, it's a fine mechanical keyboard. Especially considering the price. Great job Epomaker.

Hot Swapable?
I bought the board for my brother on another account. Yes I have two Amazon accounts weird right?. Anyways the board is hot swappable but only with other gateron switches. It has a raised RGB LED, so unless your switches have the little cutout for a raised LED then forget about putting in some other switch. I originally bought this board for the $75 price and now that I see the $50 price it mildly frustrates me. Epomaker has other better hot swap keyboards which make this one feel like an after though or a cash grab.

Not truly hotswappable
Like always read the reviews first, this keyboard has SMD LEDs which isn't mentioned in the description of the device. Switches like cherry switches won't fit on this keyboard. Make sure to check if your switch is SMD compatible

A great Mechanical Keyboard for newbies
The media could not be loaded. I started getting into mech keyboards for a while and this is one of my favorites so far in terms of stock. I noticed that a lot of big mech keyboard YouTubers were saying this board is trash but it is actually good for everyone who is not a pro in boards. I can see why some don't like this board, to each their own but I personally liked this board. The thing that got me iffy was the PCB not truly hot-swappable because of the LEDs not being flush enough but it really doesn't hurt to find another kind of switch that fits on this board or just mod the ones that come with it, I've seen that AKKO switches fit on this board since they have the little space for the LEDs. I really enjoy typing on this as well as gaming since it is not a huge size and it has all the keys that I truly need without eating up half of my desk.I got the Black switches version and I ended up modding everything, adding tape to the bottom of the PCB, adding foam in the case, lubing the switches, and got pudding keycaps to truly enjoy the LEDs on this keyboard. I am very happy to see that this is mod-friendly to a point, but I do recommend lubing the black switches if you can since it feels like a dream to type on when they are lubed. I am satisfied with this little project which makes me like the board even more now.I included a comparison clip to how the board sounds when the switches are lubed. The one thing I actually agree with some people is that the way the board is holding itself with clips instead of screws is kinda not great IMO, considering that it might break if you take it off so often if you do mods or clean the board. if Epomaker sees this, I would suggest revisiting this design and implement screws for a newer model ( if there's going to be a new one ).Overall, do I recommend this board? Yes, I would wait until it's for sale, as I am typing this (9/10), I see a nice coupon which makes it a better deal IMO, so if you were contemplating this, consider getting it. :)Would I gift this to someone who already owns 50 boards and spends up to $800 for a keyboard? probably not since they would hate this haaha

Good
Nice, the layout of the home/end/del is unusual and takes time to get used to but it's ok.The function keys like volume up/down, next/previous/pause track I'd say not in ideal position, I'd prefer them to be on the arrow keys instead of the backlight control(I don't change it hundreds of times a day),as fn(near right ctrl) + F2 is hard to press with one hand.

Price competitive. Decent modular switch keyboard
Definitely not the best. Keyboard is light, typing experience feels a little plastic or holloe. Bought some gateron blue switches to make the keyboard more "fun".
