These are not heavy duty fence pieces, but they look nice and keep good dogs out of places. If your pet/child wants to get past this, they will. This item is meant to look pretty and give imps a chance to stop, think and hopefully not push past them. For greater sturdiness, find a way to secure either to a wall or the floor/ground. If you know how to use a screwdriver properly, you can assemble this

I bought this to try to protect my Christmas tree from my dog. It wasn't the sturdiest, but it did it's job well. It's really cute. It is about as small as I expected but was exactly what I needed to deter my dog. The only drawback is it wasn't the easiest to assemble. All the pieces were there but it was hard to get some of the screws to screw all the way in. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to buy this and will be using it again next Christmas!

It was a little flimsy and in order to store it for next year you have to take it partially apart. But it was exactly the size I needed and looked cute enough while protecting the tree.

Our cat is the best boy but is an absolute menace to all things Christmas. This took some time to put together, and it’s light/ can be moved by a determined small-to-medium sized creature, but with a little extra maneuvering to secure pieces to the floor and wall it’s working so far!

We put this fence up around our Christmas tree, it looks wonderful & is very good at keeping our dogs away from the tree.

Thought this would be high enough to be a deterrent, but a medium sized cat will jump over with ease. Didn’t help prevent cat from chewing the christmas tree

First, excuse the bare tree. I’m having to start over after my dog knocked it down. Hence, this purchase. I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for - but I’m not sure this is even worth the $14 that I paid. It came with 3 sections of two panels already connected by 2 hinges. You would think they would give you 4 additional hinges to connect the sections together, but they only give 2. They also provided a flat screwdriver, which was a nice thought; however doesn’t quite work on the Phillips screws. Is it sturdy enough to prevent my dog that is hell-bent on destroying all of my Christmas decorations? Absolutely not. Am I willing to give it a chance and hope for a miracle because I don’t feel like having to return it? Yes.

I know a lot of people look for real world reviews so here's mine:As you can see from the photo it works extremely well. However the build quality is a little bit shabby, used ultra tak to secure it to the walls / floor as its only temporary and dressed it up with lights. Million dollar idea, executed on a small budget but overall brilliant product.

Product is ok but as I took item out of the box one of the panels came off. Screw driver that arrives with items doesn’t fit screw which is rather odd.

Perfect. Exactly what I wanted to stop a small puppy from getting under the tree. Good quality, even a great little touch of including a screwdriver to connect them together.
