I put one in front of the kitchen sink, and one outside the shower.
They looked great and the one in the kitchen caught the color of the cabinets perfectly. It looked like it belonged there. I placed the other one in front of the shower. In less than two weeks, both of them looked really dirty.I swept them off, wiped them with a cloth, and even took them outside and sprayed them down with the hose.Nothing changed the dirty look, and just couldn't leave them out anymore.Sorry for the bad review, but I'm always honest about products.I live in the desert, and there is a lot of dust and sand. Some of what looks like dust is mica. It is almost black. That's the only thing I can guess happened to make them look so bad in less than 2 weeks.

Looks and functionality

Absorbent and dries quickly.
Some things to know about this product: It does absorb well, and dries quickly. We can take one shower after another and not step onto a soggy mess with this bath mat. As other reviewers have said, it is thin, so there isn’t much cushion, but it is not a hard slab of stone. Whether or not it is actually with diatomaceous earth I cannot say. We have not tried to clean it yet, so the jury is still out on that. The mat is small. I wish they made it in larger size to catch all of the drips when we step out of the shower. Not bad for the price. Functional, but nothing fancy.

It’s ok
It’s very thin, not much in the way of comfort. The tan design is nice and the rubber backing ensures the mat doesn’t slip. Absorbency is ok, not as much as I was hoping. My cats love laying on this mat though. Unfortunately, it is a magnet for any hair or fuzz and the only way to remove that is a lint roller. It does wash up in the washer nicely but make sure you air dry it!

Not for homes with pets
If you have pets it seems it attracts the hair like a magnet and looks awful. It doesn’t just vacuum off either it takes tape or a really good lint brush.
